Currently I have installed a 2 core 2 thread Core i5 LGA1156 with 3.2 GHz base clock, in my 10 year old working machine. Knowing that clock speed is still in this range today makes me less concerned about upgrading (yet)

Old office laptop with AMD A6-5200 2 GHz, 3.45 gb of RAM (-500 mb for "video card") and integrated AMD HD 8400

Only god knows how I'm able to run programs like Unreal Engine, Unity and make 3D renders on this potato

cool

like what model?

It's just a local Russian brand (DNS) that produces cheap electronics, my laptop doesn't even have proper model name, just some letters and numbers

oh, cool (think it's cool just because of it being a bit boring)

My Laptop is an old HP ProBook 6475b (only remember cause I had to check what one it was for to get a new battery, and it's on the display)

MacBook Air :crackle:

Im not much of a gamer, or computer nerd (like I know next to nothing about them lol) but the one game I want to desperately be able to play is demanding (flight sim 2020).   So I’m getting my brother-in-law to build one that can play it on.

I’ll just send a screenshot of everything he’s putting on it.

Spoiler

Well, here are my specs:

CPU: Intel Core2Quad Q8200 2.33GHz

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 610 1GB MSI

RAM: 4GB DDR2 Dual Channel 800MHz

HDD: Toshiba 300GB 5400rpm (Taken from my netbook)

OS: Windows 7 Service Pack 1

The bad thing about my PC is that the power supply, a generic one, fails every two hours and it affects my hard disk, turning it on and off every second (have to unplug everything and then plug again in five minutes.)

Before I forgot to mention that I have a 30" Dell Ultrasharp UP3017 monitor. God I love this monitor. 2560x1600, 16:10 IPS, factory calibrated and accurate colors.

Actually, my computer wears a monocle.

My computer would like to inform you that its specs are a bunch of meaningless numbers. It seems to run though.

CPU: Intel Core i3-9100F @3.6 GHz

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030

RAM: 8 GB

Motherboard: ASUS Prime B360-PLUS

120 GB SSD + 2 TB HDD

OS: Windows 10 64-bit

Monitor: Samsung S22C300 (21.5" 1920x1080)

Computer Brand / Make: None, I assembled it myself.

So generally it's not much, but it serves its purpose.

CPU: I7-5930k, at stock voltage at ~4.5

Cooler: NH-D15

Motherboard: Asus Rampage V 10th anniversary edition

GPUs: two Nvidia 980s, one a reference, one a new in box Gigabyte Winforce, in SLI

Ram: originally 32, but since one stick will only work alone, 24 of 2800mhz Corsair Dominator Platinum

Storage: 15 TB of HDDs

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate

PSU: 1600w EVGA P2

Made it myself for under $1000 US about 5 years ago(when the 7th gen intel was announced), all of it was used aside from the PSU and cooler. Currently no case, its sitting on a stand on a table.

Then sitting beside it in a drawer is the " legendary" I7-4790K(trying to find a motherboard for it) and the introvert ram stick.

I am so sad, I posted my build here ages ago and back then my pc was a beast. Now it has been like 7 years or more since I bought it and my computer is now below average and I'm having troubles with my video editing and stuff. I want to build a new computer but all the freaking parts are out of stock and it's so annoying..

Since I last posted here, I actually built a new PC altogether after I graduated High School using graduation money I got, albeit reusing a couple parts I used to have.

Case: NZXT Source 210 (my original)

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600

GPU: AMD Radeon RX 560 4GB (bought in 2018 for my previous build, decided to keep using it)

RAM: 16 GB DDR4 @ 3200 MHz

Motherboard: Gigabyte B450 AORUS ELITE

Monitors: AOC 24B1W1 1920x1080 (main) + Samsung S19E200 1280x1024 (secondary)

Storage: 240GB PNY SSD, 1TB Western Digital HDD, 2TB Western Digital HDD

PSU: Corsair 750W 80+ Bronze

OS: Windows 10 Professional. Might dualboot a Linux distro at some point (either Mint or Ubuntu Mate)

Should mention that when I bought some of the parts (CPU, RAM, Motherboard, PSU) Microcenter had a deal where if I bought a CPU alongside the motherboard (and RAM I think?) it was half off or something like that which was pretty cool.

I also have a Chuwi Corebook Pro with an Intel Core i3, 8GB RAM and 240GB SSD, also running Windows 10.
