CPU: I7-5930k, at stock voltage at ~4.5

Cooler: NH-D15

Motherboard: Asus Rampage V 10th anniversary edition

GPUs: two Nvidia 980s, one a reference, one a new in box Gigabyte Winforce, in SLI

Ram: originally 32, but since one stick will only work alone, 24 of 2800mhz Corsair Dominator Platinum

Storage: 15 TB of HDDs

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate

PSU: 1600w EVGA P2

Made it myself for under $1000 US about 5 years ago(when the 7th gen intel was announced), all of it was used aside from the PSU and cooler. Currently no case, its sitting on a stand on a table.

Then sitting beside it in a drawer is the " legendary" I7-4790K(trying to find a motherboard for it) and the introvert ram stick.

I am so sad, I posted my build here ages ago and back then my pc was a beast. Now it has been like 7 years or more since I bought it and my computer is now below average and I'm having troubles with my video editing and stuff. I want to build a new computer but all the freaking parts are out of stock and it's so annoying..

Since I last posted here, I actually built a new PC altogether after I graduated High School using graduation money I got, albeit reusing a couple parts I used to have.

Case: NZXT Source 210 (my original)

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600

GPU: AMD Radeon RX 560 4GB (bought in 2018 for my previous build, decided to keep using it)

RAM: 16 GB DDR4 @ 3200 MHz

Motherboard: Gigabyte B450 AORUS ELITE

Monitors: AOC 24B1W1 1920x1080 (main) + Samsung S19E200 1280x1024 (secondary)

Storage: 240GB PNY SSD, 1TB Western Digital HDD, 2TB Western Digital HDD

PSU: Corsair 750W 80+ Bronze

OS: Windows 10 Professional. Might dualboot a Linux distro at some point (either Mint or Ubuntu Mate)

Should mention that when I bought some of the parts (CPU, RAM, Motherboard, PSU) Microcenter had a deal where if I bought a CPU alongside the motherboard (and RAM I think?) it was half off or something like that which was pretty cool.

I also have a Chuwi Corebook Pro with an Intel Core i3, 8GB RAM and 240GB SSD, also running Windows 10.

Hmm...

Just off the top of my head, my laptop has

AMD Ryzen 7 4000 Series Processor

Integrated Radeon Graphics :yuck: (Good enough for my purposes though, I guess.)

16 GB RAM

That's probably gives a good idea of what I have. Also, it's a Lenovo Ideapad Flex 5. I hope to get a powerful tower someday though and maybe even build it myself.

I am still on ancient hardware from 2013 and am still doing well. The RAM is just too low (4 GB) but my two graphics cards linked together do out perform the most.

I used to be a Windows user up until recently. I transitioned from Windows 11 to Mac OS X Ventura. In my experience, Mac OS X has far less issues than Windows. It runs much smoother. I have an M2 Pro CPU and 16GB Ram. On my old Windows Rig, even with 32GB it still suffered from lag and crashing randomly.

My PC I spoiled myself with for music a year ago:

AMD Ryzen 9 5900X cooled by AIO: Phanteks 280MP V2
NZXT N7 B550
Kingston KC3000 2TB (OS/main drive)
Samsung Portable T7 2TB (instrument library files mostly)
Adata XPG Gammix D45 32GB (4x8GB) at 3200MHz
EVGA GTX 1050 Ti SSC ACX 3.0 (for display out)
Lian Li O11 Dynamic Mini
EVGA Supernova GM850 (at the time I was looking at the Corsair ones but they were being scalped)
I think 10 Arctic P14 PWM PST fans. Or it might be mostly P12 with 2 or 4 P14s on the Phanteks AIO
Running Windows 10 with every other week being nagged to upgrade to Windows 11.

I am considering downsizing though, small form factor seems better here. Unfortunately ITX anything is terribly priced for new gen stuff (worse than usual) so I'll stick to what I have. Maybe more storage, SSD pricing is cool right now but I should consider larger capacity HDD for backing up projects? Maybe hmmm....

@thecoolerglimmer, can your PC play games?

I only use it to use high intensity load games like "tic-tac-toe" XD

Jokes aside- I play some games when I can actually find the time in the middle of everything lol
