Ok, so has anyone you have ever met at first or a random person did not believe you are the age you are. Like for example, I am 18, and it's hard for anyone to believe I am. People say I look 12. I sure as hell do not, I mean 12 year olds are still kids kinda, just hitting puberty, and their appearance looks younger. I am past puberty, I do NOT look kiddish.

Expect to be carded until you are 33 when you try to get a drink. This is not a bad thing -- a lot of people would kill to look younger than their age. You just aren't old enough yet for it to be a positive.

First off, you're adorable.

You do look younger than you are, but certainly not 12. I'd say 15-16 at the very least. But like silvadel said, it's always better to look younger, except when drinking.

In my opinion you look like your around the age of 17-18. I've been told I look older than I really am by about 20 years...but most think I'm just about 2-3 years older than I actually am.

I honestly don't feel you lol. I was the opposite. People think I'm older than I actually am all because of my freakish height (I'm 5' 11'' and apparently that makes me 25 years old or something lol)

Glad to see somebody else has this problem too. I'm 24 but I'm frequently mistaken for being 16 or 17. Maybe it's because of my own experiences with this issue, but I've become fairly adept at guessing people's ages correctly despite whatever they may look like. I would have thought you were 17 or 18. Even if I couldn't figure it out there's no way I would think you were younger than 15.

 

Not sure how it works for you, but I do have some control over it. My hair is pretty thick, so when it grows out it gets "bulbous" or "poofy" rather than growing out and long. When it gets like that, combined with only a couple days of not shaving, I look more my age and people believe it when I tell them. If I keep my hair at a reasonable length and shave like I ought to then people normally think I'm still in high school.

That works, but I was thinking of a Mosin Nagant. That seems more iconically Soviet to me. I have a Mosin. Had a Makarov too but I sold that. Starting to regret that decision.

You don't look 12 at all, I would guess without knowing you were 17 or 18. When i was a teen people thought I was a lot older than I was. I would go to resturants when I was 16 and waiters would ask me if I would like a drink, they thought I was 21!! Now that I am in my 20's it has evened out for the most part, although people still sometimes think.I am a bit older I am 22 people still think I am around 25, a bit damaging to the ego, part of it is because my boyfriend is 30 so people assume I am closer to his age.

First of all, you look adorable. Secondly, you look older than 12, people who are saying that are just weird.

However, I too have the same problem. People reckon it isnt my face thats making me look younger but my body.

Apparently I got the body of a freshman which is degrading as hell since I'm turning 18 in two months

My dad once told me that its great to look young cause when you hit 30 you're still gonna look like you go to college whilst a majority of others will start looking old as anything ^.^

And I was in the same situation quite often. When I was 18 and 19 everypony thought I was 16 at maximum. Now I look a bit older because I have a beard but without it, I wouldn't look older than 17 or 18.(I am 20 right now)
