Okay so here si the thread where I tell you about my negatives and positives about my favorite game ever to exist ever. WORLD OF WARCRAFT!!! Feel free to tell me your complaints and compliments and even argue with me about mine below
Note: This is all 100% IMO. Please dont get butthurt.

 

Complaints:

- Taking away Volley for hunters.

 

What the fuck blizzard. That was my AoE and you took it!

It would have fit in fine with Cata. All you needed to do was make it use a hefty ammount of energy

so that people couldnt spam it then finish eveyone off with multi-shot.

I dont know why you took it away but every hunter who plays could probably see this one coming.

 

-Screwing rogues.

 

I have played Rogue for as long as I can remember.

But the new MoP expansion made me wanna kill a chicken. *eyes Scootaloo*

You RUINED, I mean RUINED this class. Lets take a looksie shall we?

-They gave away Shadowstep to every other tree. Why? Why did you have to significantly

hurt my favorite rogue tree!? I ALWAYS play subtelty first, and you giving away SS made me a sad panda..

-They made me choose between Shadowstep and preparation.

This change made me wanna.... IFHSEF;FGW;

This was like making me choose between left and right roads, and both of them lacked something the other had. I NEED both of those moves and you make me choose?! I say neigh! (I chose SS by the way...)

I could write alot more here but I dont wanna make this thread of Feldian length.

 

-Adding pandas when we have been QQing over emerald dream.

 

Let me start by saying I love MoP. However the pandaren themselves are well... Pandas.

I like the expansion just fine but TBCH The lore of it is all a bit odd.

Pandaren were first introduced in Blizzards april fools joke, since then the fans loved them soo much they added a pet, and brought them into the lore. But making an entire expansion over them is well.

Terrible.

 

- PvP problems

 

I have a few, PvP is my favorite part of WoW, but there are some undeniable problems.

-Twinks with BoA armor.

I think BoA is fine, but in a battleground where people could be level ten just starting out its not right.

Poor little lowbies are getting ganked left and right because someone else played longer, this problem could be easily solved if they added a BoA only battleground. That way people without BoA could battle while the twinks could all have a go at other twinks.

-OP classes

I know that you have to balance the classes but having Frost mages whoop as for two whole patches isn't balanced. I just think that they could change the balance of power a bit more often as opposed to having people just pwn in BGs for most of the Cataclysm expansion.

-The MoP enviroment

 

Its stunning the way they created an entire region so beautifully. My accounts down so I cant link you guys any AMAZING images but if you google it im sure you can find some. Seriously the ammount of detail that went into this is outstanding and its not just in pandaria either.

 

-The new dungeouns

 

I love the way the outside dungeouns because they are amazing IMO.

I can only name a few outdoor dungeouns off the top of my head like the Scarlet monastery and That one with Kael'thas. But they were both amazing and so are the MoP ones even if I havemt been into most of them...

 

-The races and Lore

 

Orcs, Goblins, Blood elves, Tauren, Forsaken, Trolls, They are just so cool! The backstory and Lore is just terrific and really helps describe the game a bit better. Oh and the Aliance have some cool stuff...

But srsly Garrosh vs Thrall and Vol'jinn vs Garrosh, and Sylvanass vs Garrosh, and everyone else in the entire god damn world vs Garrosh really shows how much Garrosh is a douchebag! Howver it doesnt tell me why he constantly stands up when there is a great big chair behind him!

 

Over all WoW is an amazing game and if you havent played GO AND MAKE A TRIAL RIGHT NOW YOUNG FILLY!! I have played since Vanilla and I have no intention of quitting anytime soon. Hope you enjoyed and I WILL

be adding more compliments tommorow because this took me a bit of time to make.

My biggest complaint is the dungeon/raid finder. I don't like how you can que for dungeons in cities, it makes everyone stay in the capitol cities all the time... It also allows people to just do dungeon after dungeon after dungeon to train so quests practically become unnecessary. I know what they were trying to do with it, but I think it would at least have been better if you had to go in the entrance of the dungeon or raid itself to que for it.

 

On top of this people in a random group will kick you for no reason

 

I also don't like they gave hunters infinite arrows even though I have ran out of arrows on many many occasions lol.

 

Also they made the skill tree way too simple now.. And they did the same with Diablo 3

 

I have always thought that the world was awesome though. Lots of people will say the graphics are bad or whatever but I really don't care, it has great atmosphere. And of course the music gets a special mention from me.

I think dungeoun finder was put down so lowbies wouldnt have to trek to the deadmines and it saves ALOT of time.

Also with people in the cities it makes it feel a bit more like a city to me lol. I agree with the hunter ammo and the talent trees now. Most of the people you meet have the same specs as you and I liked the added effets of some Ammo...

my biggest complaint about WoW, is the easy mode of what it turned MMOs into. Coming from games like like EQ, DAoC (when they were the main MMOs). It just seems to easy and lacks the challenge. Even the PvP is too easy for me.

Now I know the way gameplay that there was back in the past will not be returning. So I have to adapt to the new ways. Look at games like GW2 who tried to bring back 3 way fighting. People are complaining

 

though if I can manage to find one thing good about WoW, is that the armors look cool

I presently find myself on the verge of quitting WoW, I'm not a huge fan of the new talent system and some classes have just been majorly messed up (hunters have gone from top range DPS to now being bottom of the DPS on all 3 specs), I can live with these, it's just part of the game, but what is putting me off playing these days is the average maturity of the players, it seems as though many of the players i encounter these days are highly immature, it gets rather frustrating.

 

Oh and guild whoring Cataclysm broke guilds, they were once a group of friends playing together to reach a goal (be it raids, pvp etc) but because of guild levels, guilds have been reduced to being services for people to use in order to level faster, i remember pre cata i stayed in the same guild for several years, not many people joined or left the guild, but now you see people hopping from guild to guild on a daily basis, its a joke.

Ah World of Warcraft... what can I say? Been playing since 2009 and still not sure if I'm glad I started playing or if I regret it. Pandaria is well constructed and I give Blizzard props for that at the very least, even though Emerald Dream should have been the next expansion but they don't seem to want to do that anymore.

 

The raids so far have been pretty good. I enjoyed Mogu'shan Vaults and I can't wait to check out Heart of Fear and Terrace of Endless Spring. Also I do like what they've done for the Legendary item so far.... but I don't like what they are doing for Patch 5.1. Having to do PvP in order to eventually build what will be the most powerful PvE weapon in the expansion seems a little ass backwards.

 

The dungeons were fun for the first run or two, but once you are trying to gear up via heroics they quickly loose their appeal and I don't intend to set foot in them ever again. They were even more boring than Wrath of the Lich King heroics and THAT is an accomplishment.

 

Time will tell, but I think this will probably be my last expansion for awhile. I may come back if they ever decide to have Sargeras come into the picture.

When Cataclysm came along, my computer no longer met the hardware requirements...it still doesn't and neither does my laptop . I do not have money to buy something new, so I ust cancelled my payment, I may need the money I paid for it in order to move outta my parents' house, which I am currently planning

Ah that's fair enough, didn't know if there was a rule for it at all in these forums , erm with other games, depends what i feel like playing I guess sometimes minecraft, TF2 Occasionaly, BL2, Borderlands, LoL, Dota those sorta games

I used to play, but I never got very far playing regular WoW, so I went to private servers, and then I quit. Recently I've played Tera, which looks much nicer, seems to run better for me, and is completely free to play. Max level is 60, I got to about level 30 in a week and stopped playing for a bit.

I've been told that tera is a very good game, ill have to check that out at some point , yeah I used to play Molten WoW private server for a while, waiting for new expansion but got bored of it, was too easy ;P

Has anypony else been getting the Battle.net Error #2 when trying to log on? I have, i've tried the flushdns thing, the deleting the cache folders thing and neither work, if any of you have a way of getting it working, please let me know as this is infuriating to now end. Thanks

Tuesday Maintnance,  When they take down the servers to clean out junk data and what not.   servers shold be up 2 or 3 PM EST, provided  no major problems are found.   Most all MMO's  will have a day like this about once a week. 

 

Oh and I do stil play Burning Blade Alliance.  Biggest Mistake I made was 8 years ago when I rolled on  a PVP server.  If I knew what that ment back then I would of never done that.    To anyone that wants to Try this game I would advise PVE.  It will save you Tons of Stress when you just want to relax and play a game.

Yeah I play, played vanilla through to cata, then quit. Just started playing again a few weeks ago.

 

Horde Paladin on Chamber of Aspects, lvl 85 until I get round to playing through pandaria.

i've been playing since vanilla, or in other words, since about 2004, and all i can say is that you missed when the game was at it's best cata was alright, but i think MoP ruined the game haha
