Hey anypony a deftones fan out there? If you are make sure to pick up Koi No Yokan on november 13th i think that Tempest is the vest song ive heard all year. Just saw Deftones last year it was amazing... Chino may be one of the best live singers ive ever seen his voice conveys the emotions and eroticism in the lyrics perfectly even in front of hundreds of people. I cant wait to get the new CD. If you like Deftones whats your fav album and song?

Godd for you what do you listen to? Deftones are an amazing band and dont get the respevt they deserve. Deftones are the greatest band making music today

There was whole thread dedicated mental health related to music as well. I said feel that is was terrible to listen to, I didn't come right out and say it was complete garbage. As a matter fact, i've even stated in the other thread i mentioned that there is metal music i love but careful attention should really made to what actually is going on in the music. There can be chaotic good no doubt about that and of that i am researching. My results on the other hand.... are arriving at questionable possibilities.

I find deftones to be an interesting band, the lead singer is not the best vocalist, he sounds almost tone deaf (could be where the name comes from? ) yet, the way he sings it just matches so perfectly with the music

The name actually comes from the fact that they couldnt settle on one kind of music when starting as a band they arent really punk or rap or rock its kind of similar to experimental bands such as tool and a perfect cirlce

I remember when I first heard that Chi Cheng was in a coma. My heart totally just dropped, 'cause, like, I loved that band. Especially that one song "Hole in the Earth".

For some reason im not huge on hole in the earth or really saturday night wrist its a wierd album has some good stuff but just didnt think it was quite as good as pony or diamond eyes

@, Deftones is actually pretty "peppy" in terms of metal, or whatever you'd like to call them as. Just saying.

And wow, this thread. If you have ever seen me in the metal thread, you should know how much of a big Deftones fan I am. They are truly one of my favorite bands. I've seen them live, and I'm seeing them again in a week.

The Self-Titled (ironically) was their best album, in my opinion. Chino's screams on that record blew me away.

White Pony was good, but it never had the same impact.
