Well, for starters, I am a huge Ed, Edd, 'n Eddy fan. Of all the shows to have a cynical tone to it, I feel like that was the only show to do it right. The slapstick was over-the-top funny, the intentional avoiding of ever showing the faces of adults or leaving the cul-de-sac, and every character was surprisingly appealing in their own way. And when it moved on to start having more serious, touching moments, I was not disappointed.

AND GOOD GOD, THAT MOVIE.

 

Spongebob Squarepants. You know... back when it was good. Before it became a crappy show focused on unfunny suffering of innocent bystanders, Spongebob was a fun show about a young sponge with the freedom of a sponge. A show I love, and it's fun going back and watching the older episodes. Plus, it had a great theatrical movie.

 

Adventure Time. Used to be I hated this show. Then I was indifferent. But after some time, I gave the show a shot and found it to be pretty good. Once it stopped focusing on sheer insantiy and little to no logic, it became a grounded show with some rather well thought-out moments, even becoming serious with overlying themes that make room for lots of development. It's nothing great, but it's an enjoyable show, and nice to watch every now and again.

 

I'd say Pokemon, but I haven't watched that in a while. I stopped when I saw Team Rocket being taken seriously in Black and White.

 

And favorite of all of these: Gravity Falls. Easily one of the best cartoons ever made by Disney Channel, it's the perfect blend of comedy, mystery, and even light-hearted moments, which tend to be a rarity these days. It's a great show with a lot of thought, and easily the greatest season finale ever created for any show ever to date. And we're still waiting on Season 2.

 

So there ya go, other cartoons I like.

My first major fandom was Alvin and the Chipmunks and I still collect and watch the show on occasion but not as much as My Little Pony.
