I've signed. Daniel Ingram has deserved to make money (other than from just the cash he made from the eps themselves) for SO LONG that it isn't funny. He's a musical artist just like any other, and deserves an album for his fabulous work.

Guh, I really neglect to check back here at times. Too busy with life priorities + ripping BGM... I'm responding to one post here.

 

 

I want the scores to be on the CD, as well as the instrumental versions of the songs (they might be able to get rid of the voice bleedings on the channel).

 

Typically when songs are written and recorded, the instrumentals would be done on its own track first - then the singers/backup singers come in and listen to the instrumental with headphones as they perform their vocals for the songs. In the case of MLP, there would be three different recordings for a given song - the instrumentals/music only, the lead singer(s), the backup singer(s), and all three tracks are then mixed together in post-production. You wouldn't have to go to the final TV 5.1 surround audio source for a soundtrack release when you can just go to the original recordings.

 

The score works in a similar fashion - all of the music is composed on its own track before Will Anderson submits all of it (as a .omf file) to Dick & Roger's in Vancouver for post-production audio mixing, where the sound effects and dialog are mixed on top of the score for the final TV release.

I had the time to sign it, and i hope the master it and make it high quality.

I can tell when a song isnt mastered nor is high quality due to my headphones being "studio quality"

 

And I hope I can try to get 102 more ppl to sign it since thats how much more is needed

I'll sign! I know I'd buy the soundtrack if it were released. I would put in my CD player (or on an mp3) and would blare it non-stop, all day, every day.
