Lately I've seen a lot of member leaving the forums. Some of them I didn't know, some of them I did. It always pains me to see a friend leave the forums because of problems with either life or someone or something on the forums. That's why I made this thread, to get those members who are thinking of leaving to change their minds. I'm not doing this to keep the member count going up, but I seriously don't want to see any more friends leave, it really pains me when I lose someone...

 

Now, I did start this to try and convince to stay on the forums because plenty of people would hate to see him leave, but you may also use this thread to show other members that they are important and should stay, too. All I ask is that you are serious with this, I did not intend this to be made to make fun of other and make them leave the forums that much faster. We are all friends here, and we need to show each other that we matter.

Yeah, I will be really upset if Red does decide to leave. He created the "Ask Octavia" thread that kinda turned into an RP, so that was really fun... good times... And if he leaves, I'll never be able to talk him back into joining it, it just isn't the same with just me and mike RPing...

Outside of Red, who honestly the only criticism I can give is this entire "zomg guys I promised myself I could leave" thing, there's a couple people who I think are great. Actually, there's more than a couple. I think that most people on here are great and there's only three people who I don't like. From what I'm seeing, this forum's unique because for the most part people seem to care for each other even though we hardly know each other as opposed to every other forum I've been to where it's nothing more than a crap ton of cynnicism towards anything.

 

It's kind of a shame to see people leave because they think they are unwanted, because honestly I'm sure that there's at least one person on here who would love for that one person to stay.

ok, cool. I didn't know where to put it at the time, so i just put it in the lounge area. but now that it has to have discussion, maybe we can show others that they matter.

This is one of the forums that stand out to me, there are great individuals like Red I'd hate to see leave the forum or Motion Spark or Dimitri there are so many great people on here. Even if it is the pony fandom with the "love and tolerate" stuff the users ultimately define how a fandom is and as it stands now I'd say we're one of the nicest fandoms out there.

Look, y'all. People leave. It's just a fact of life. It's sad, but people have their reasons. Instead of begging them to stay, it'd be better to respect those reasons.

 

If they're dumb reasons, they'll get over it and come back eventually. If their good reasons, they still might pop back in occasionally. NNL, Swoop, Honey Puff, Blue, even LRP and Finest. This happens.

 

Even those who leave and don't come back, period, like Arylett. Respecting someone's reasons for leaving just seems better to me than threads like this.
