All I want for Christmas is a roll of duct tape and a pair of ear plugs, I work in a grocery store and was recently made a backup checker in addition to still being a dairy clerk. I can order, break down and work loads blindfolded with both arms tied behind my back but not when "Jerry check up front please" or "Jerry customer service please" is uttered every two seconds like it was last Saturday when the store was still ripped apart from Thanksgiving. Most days are okay but when it gets as busy or there is not enough help I feel like I am on the verge of having a damn heart attack.

 

All joking aside though I tend to buy myself most of the stuff I want anyway which is usually video games so I can't really think of much, there are a few books I want though.

I personally would totally love some clothes, particularly shirts. I recently lost a ton of weight and still am so all of my old clothes look way too baggy on me. I have this one shirt that went all the way down to my knees, which is insane!

 

As far as getting things for others: I dunno what I'm gonna do. I really want to get other people things, but I don't even have enough money for a gumball right now. I'm probably going to bake a cake or something for my older sister, because she's a pastry chef and has this obsession with making others actually start baking or cooking. No clue what to do for anyone else, though.

There are plenty of things no one should grow out of. The world would be a much brighter place if people held on to more things that brought them joy as children. Presents on Christmas morning is one of them.

Cheers, I thought so too. Plus with it having water parks it means I can finally get to see her wear a bikini (yeah slight perve moment but its been like 2 years since I saw her in one). That is one of the major drawbacks of British weather.

I hope so, I really do. I had a nasty reminder of it when I was transfering some old home movies from vcr to dvd for my parents.... at least this time I could walk off and get something to eat until the torture stopped.

My personal recommendation is Lenovo. They've taken an appreciable amount of business away from Dell when it comes to home users, and I love my G770.

 

 

Give ASUS a shot. Good brand for any kind of hardware, fair price for performance, and good customer service, which is extremely important when dealing with laptops.

Ah Lenovo, that's a good brand, along with ASUS, those are actually some brands on for my next laptop, as both are suited to the hot tropical weather in my place. Thanks for suggesting them!

honestly, i dont want anything this year. i can buy whatever i need on my own coin, so i didnt ask for anything. that, and i hate the social obligation that comes with exchanging gifts.

There are a few things I wouldn't mind getting this year:

 

- A large wrench or wooden hammer; I could outfit the wrench with a custom grip of my own, and go to town smashing fruit to my little heart's content!

 

- Some MLP stuff. Either the Season 1 DVD or the Famous Friends pocket pony set (it has the FABULOUS~ Rarity, Photo Finish and Hoity Toity). I'll probably buy this stuff myself, though. I don't really include my family in any of my broniness.

 

- Some music albums. If only I knew of more artists that actually have physical album releases.

 

I don't like asking for specific items for my gifts, because it takes the fun out of receiving them. If they really don't know what to get me, they can just not get me anything, I don't mind.

 

My little sister is hand-knitting me a scarf, using yarn of grey, dark grey and a light pastel green. I can't wait to see it finished!

The only real thing I want is the Season Pass for free Black Ops II DLC. Why? Because I can get fucking Nuketown Zombies with it . Other than that, I have everything I want. Something I'm lucky to say.

haha seriously though, why didn't you just get it? I bought the hardened so I got both Nuketown 2025 and nuketown zombies. it's quite fun. Though I prefer the map farm.

As big of a CoD fan (Fan, NOT fanboy, mind you) I am, I didn't know that Nuketown Zombies was a Hardened bonus before the game's release . Well, I can always get the Season Pass to get Nuketown Zombies AND all DLC, FOR FREE .
