Sigh... I should have chosen Halt or Will from Ranger's apprentice -.- Oh well, too late, at least Six is a great fighter.

I love Ranger's Apprentice... That would have been super awesome if you had. I mean, I'm not as addicted to Ranger's Apprentice as I am to Harry Potter, but I definitely want to reread those books sometime soon. It's been a while. I wonder if I can find them on audio...

So, any thoughts on my first matchup? I figured that they're pretty even, so why not have the two technicolor wierdos fight?

I think that we should maybe have 2 fights going at once, anymore and it will get to hard to follow.

 

Also just wondering how was the master chief going to pick his equipment and two weapons before each fight?

Master Chief can hold his own with whatever he's given. He's held is own in hand-to-hand combat multiple times in the books, and I'm sure he could improvise.

The Vampire Lord is a complete BA, but I mean, being any kind of vampire will make you incredibly weak to fire, while werewolves are only hurt extra by silver, right? Which isn't as common. It depends if you think it's worth the weakness to fire for more power.

 

(In fact, I don't remember if silver hurts werewolves any extra in Skyrim at all. I just know the Silver Hand uses it exclusively.)

Don't worry, I played Skyrim for nine months, and Oblivion for at least twice that. I would know anyway.

I am super surprised Dragonball hasn't been chosen yet. Goku seems pretty OP, beating up people with the power to blow up planets with ease. Maybe it was brought up and then shot down for being too powerful

 

OP, you may want to change the tag from searching since the RP has started. If it goes well, count me in for a sequel. How about this, the winner gets to keep his character and no one can use any characters from the previous tournament.

If there's a sequel, I'm going to assume we can't use the same series twice in a row, so I'm going to have to be Aang next time. Or Iroh.

I've got a huge list of characters I'm torn between for a sequel.  Goku, Whitebeard from One Piece, JC Denton from Deus Ex to name a few.

 

So are there other rules, like must be humanoid. I don't think a Reaper from Mass Effect fighting Cthulhu would be exactly in spirit of the competition, despite it being AWESOME! If so, OC could you edit the first post, I don't want to go digging through 10 backpages.

There are lots of ways to up the power ante. Instead of using the Doctress, who is actually a fairly-trained human, I could have used Verdana, who happens to be the freaking end of the world who has Death's freaking scythe and the power to slaughter things with apocalyptic poetry. Considering the former once died of being slapped, and the latter did a Flying Nun style epic elbow death attack on Cthulhu... Yeah. Admittedly, OSLT Cthulhu is a drug addict ghost computer at war with Mary Poppins in London, but the point stands.

 

Dragonball? The people there are so overpowered the universe OBVIOUSLY had to develop the ability to fix itself to the point the moon regenerates from nothing, let alone all the planets it has to fix on a regular basis. I mean seriously, how else could a scouter viewing someone strong enough not destroy the universe yet?
