Some of those kids were just rude in that episode especially the one that said that bronies should get girlfriends. -.-

IKR, the vast majority of us are straight normal people...

They can't understand how a guy could like something made for girls. In their little world that concept doesn't even exist. They can't believe that the guys who are watching the show are actually enjoying it.

The one kid who says that they should get a girlfriend subscribes to the thought that guys doing/liking things stereotypically for girls just need a girlfriend to go back to 'normal'. It sounds like crazy parent thinking... Actually very much reminds me of something that Hank Hill from King of the Hill would think. It's such backwards thinking.

And of course girls that watch the show aren't brought up. Neither are homosexuals, because quite clearly that kid probably doesn't even think that homosexuals exist. He'd probably say the same thing to the idea of homosexuality: "They just need a girlfriend". That's getting ahead of myself to assume that, I know. But it would make so much sense for him to react that way when you think about it, right?

I made a longer post in the original topic about this in the bulletin section of this forum. It was about how society can't accept guys being anything other than manly men who only do and like manly stuff and this video is just proof of it.

The children that were positive to the show... great.

Those that weren't really need to let go of the stigma surrounding show and fandom.

Grrrrrrrrrr... nope, couldn't watch it all the way through.

This reminds me of when I showed the mlp know your meme video to one of my friends. It was the first time he'd ever seen the show. At one point it says something along the lines of "the name parasprites is given to the haters and trolls". My friend immediately said "I'm a parasprite then." I managed not to get mad... barely.

I hate it when people jump to a conclusion on something when they know nothing about it. People like most of the kids in that video just go with opinion that they think will make them popular. Sadly that's a human trait, but I'm happy that so many people can fight it.

I can't make signatures.

Sooo... yeah

What annoys me mainly is the fact that the majority of them are hating on it without even seeing the actual show. Especially the stereotypical basketball player/jock person and the one who called us trolls.

Objection! Hold it! Take that! Gotcha! Eureka!

I like video games and anime.

Indeed, they should have shown them more than the opening.

I'd like to thank the MLP Vector Club for the images used in my avatar.

Known as "Princess Mi Amore Cadenza", "Trixie the Great", "Tom" and "Tomzoid the EggDroid".
