poor lil Fluttershy would have a nervous breakdown if she saw the shit we humans do. hunting animals for sport would be enough to send her into a shaking lil mess in a corner of the room. i couldnt protect her from the horrors of our lifestyle but i couldnt tell her no either. it would just suck to send her kind soul into that downward spiral with no option, and the outcome clearly insight. 

 

of course, theres always the possibility that Equestria has its horrors too, they just dont show it because its a cartoon. maybe they're all  desensitized to the same audacities that we are. who knows. 

 

doesnt change a thing... i still want a Fluttershy... and a Sweetie Belle.

I would love to have a pony IRL, but it'd be an awesome responsibility.  I vote no unless I was I confident I could provide for and protect her from all too curious fellow humans.  It'd be wrong to try to keep a pony cooped up all the time like Dashie's guardian in My Little Dashie.  In fact, because that story was written from a first person perspective, I'm convinced Dashie did go on a number of adventures and kept it a secret from her dad.  She is too clever and too much of a free spirit to spend her entire youth in and around the house. 

 

But...if I knew I could pull it off, I would in a heartbeat!    And as much as I'd love for it to be Fluttershy, I know I'd have to go vegan if it were her.  The other 5, especially Applejack, would be more open minded about a meat eating human companion.
