Who would you take to the Grand Galloping Gala?

I'm going to have to change my answer to Rainbow Dash.

 

 

I'm starting to develop a crush on this 20% cooler pony.  Which is weird, because she's a pony.

I would take Rarity to the Grand Galloping Gala.  After seeing how Prince Blueblood treated her, I know that I would be much more of a gentleman and would give her the Gala she wanted from the start, even though I'm not a prince.  Also, she's my favorite pony, why wouldn't I pick her?

I'm as big a Rainbow fan as anyone, but can't help but think she's not the right answer here.  RD was trying to make the gala about herself, about showing off... not so much what you'd want in a partner for an evening.  You could make a much better personal connection with somepony else, say Fluttershy or Pinkie.

 

If we can think outside the mane six, how about Cheerilee?  She'd enjoy the spectacle, wouldn't wreck it by making a scene, and we know she doesn't already have another special somepony.

Lyra of course! She would love to go to the Gala with a human. She could play her lyre at the party too. A great time will be had by all.

Ah, but who said that it would be the 3G from The Best Night Ever?  After that, Rainbow Dash certainly learned what to expect from such parties.  Also wasn't it Pinkie that started the overall destruction of the ballroom?  Bit more of a scene than Rainbow was making.

I would definitely choose Pinkie Pie, as the pony I would take with me to the Grand Galloping Gala. She'll definitely make the night pretty awesome for me. Things would never get boring with her. Plus, she would be so adorable unintentionally causing chaos in the ballroom. xD

 

Party with Pinkie Pie at the Grand Galloping Gala? I'd be crazy to turn down such an opportunity. x)
