advanced Heart of the Jungle (OOC)

What wilderness survival skills does Star Frost have to offer? What would his interest be in traveling to the Amblezon in specific?    His profile seems rather lacking and short. What adventures did he go on? Where did he go after the tsunami? How'd he get off of the uncharted island? Stuff like that.

 

 

I know it lack much work since I cratered him just recently. His interest  on going to the Amblezon is to be more connected to Earth and seeing exotic animal species  that no pony has ever seen.I'll work on his info later tonight.His survival skills include identifying different kinds of berries, setting snares and finding ways to survive and his main weapons are throwing knives that he always keeps in his backpack.

Nah, man. That was actually a pretty small island. An uncharted island, remember? The Amblezon Jungle is known as the Amazon Rainforest IRL, and we're talking pre-exploration, untamed Amazon. The Jungle takes up half of South America.

 

The Island Jungle burnt down though. We could say this one is similar, except deadlier.

 

Hm. He could be interesting for this. You could age him a year or two for the sake of the RP. A doctor would be most desirable to have...

Is it okay if my character, instead of being Equestrian, is a zebra? After all, this is the Zebran Desert. Say my character happened to find your exhibition. If not, I'll just create a pony like everpony else.

Here's my OC Felix North. Under the conditions of this RP, he may not be exactly suitable because of his young age and physical weakness, but he could still help as a medic if anything. Judge him however you'd like though~

I believe he knows quite a lot of forest hazards since he's friends with a zebra in the Everfree Forest, who taught him how to make some natural remedies, identify poisonous fruits, and such.

 

I can't wait to start. :B

The only difference is that the post limit is 800 instead of 200. It's not that bad, really. I've been in one.

Advanced RP's are loads of fun~ And pretty handy if you're planning on a serious and well-developed role play such as this one. :3

 

I rarely find the character limit a trouble.. In fact, as you said, it would "force" people to write more stuff and be more literate regarding the environment, their character's feelings, and such. Not suitable for everyone, but also not THAT scary once you get used to it.

Well, to start, I'm not convinced that we'll be doing an advanced roleplay yet. If you'd all rather not, I won't. If you're indecisive, I won't. If y'all do want to, I'll set it that way.

 

Anywho, I always enjoy roleplaying with you. You play your characters well. And I think Arcane would be just fine and dandy to bring along. Assuming he doesn't try and bring his entire library with him.

I understand the desire to push a character, and will probably accept you regardless, but I can't help but wonder a little bit. What would inspire Hop to go on this trip, from which she may or may not return? What would the psychiatrist hope to gain from the experience, and what skills could she contribute to help the group stay alive

My favorite tea would be this Chocolate mint tea I got in a little tea shop when I was in Banff...Sadly I ran out quite a while ago
