If this was the same jungle as from before, then I could continue a bit from Somber. Diamond could become Somber's escort, since I could have Somber say he's coming back to face his fears.

I've pretty much recognised that the Garden Party is a dead RP. So that's not a problem. And I assume you'll find it easier to keep up with an RP now that the holidays are over, so... 

 

I've asked pretty much everypony else so far. So... What would inspire Leaf to go on such a hazardous trip, and what skills would he have to offer to the survival of himself, and of the group?

 

And would you rather this be a normal roleplay, or an advanced one?

I have a few nitpicks about this being a reason, let alone it being an only reason. If Flip Flair had gone into the jungle itself, by herself, she probably would not have made very far in, and would most likely be no longer breathing. If the group were to stumble upon her, dead or alive, would Leaf abandon the ultimate goal of reaching the centre and take her home?

 

Secondly, my second question, about him providing towards the survival of himself and the entire group was ignored. He has to be able to fend for himself, or else have something valuable to contribute. Some skill, or ability...

 

I'd be more than happy to accept him once this is cleared up. Will he abandon the group if he finds his cousin?

Fair enough. I've got a good plan for what actually lies at the heart of the jungle, what the jungle's protecting, but to have it guarded by a fearsome beast? I didn't think of that. The Master of the Heart of the Jungle. Fantastic. Okay, I'll accept you.

Yep. Even the trees are out to kill you. Not all of them, mind; but there are flesh-eating Yateveo trees (Think the whomping willow from Harry Potter, if it ate ponies), and variously poisonous types of trees; some of which cause sickness, some of which cause strife, negative emotions, and disharmony.

 

And I doubt they can make good pancakes. Although we can stop at the Waffle House in Timbucktu.

2. For one he's a fairly fast flyer, not on the level of say Rainbow Dash because that would be kinda OP, but he's fast enough. Also he's experienced in this kind of thing. Flare has been on many adventures and knows what he's doing. He also has some control over fire. At high speed he can created trails of fire and has some resistance to heat but that's about it. Don't worry he's not going to be spitting up fireballs or creating some sort of fire demon, I just wanted to give him a neat little ability.

Well, although she does seem rather calm and non-energetic, she actually is prettty adventurous. And obviously it would be Moral support. A low moral is one of the deadlist things some one/pony could encounter, especially in dangerous enviorments(in my opinion of course). That and just over all emotional help(for when someone dies). Plus what pony dosnt like tea(got to love the tea. Matter of fact im going to get some.)?

 

 

But... i don't like tea :< Sorry, i just don't really like it, i feel the flavor is too bland and bitter, at least for most flavors I've tried.

Here's my OC Felix North. Under the conditions of this RP, he may not be exactly suitable because of his young age and physical weakness, but he could still help as a medic if anything. Judge him however you'd like though~

 

 

I know it lack much work since I cratered him just recently. His interest  on going to the Amblezon is to be more connected to Earth and seeing exotic animal species  that no pony has ever seen.I'll work on his info later tonight.His survival skills include identifying different kinds of berries, setting snares and finding ways to survive and his main weapons are throwing knives that he always keeps in his backpack.

Sorry if that was misleading, but the Zebra mare I introduced in the first post is NOT Yemaza, nor any especially important character. It's a city, so there's going to be more than just Yemaza in it. Also, what do you mean by nutshellified? Should I tell you the story in a nutshell?

 

Day 1. Everypony meets in Timbucktu. Everypony in the expedition meets. They sleep at the inn.

 

Day 2. Everypony travels to the Amblezon by boat. It takes a full 24 hours. We can try and keep Day 2 short.

 

Day 3. Everypony disembarks the boat, into the the boggy, coastal part of the Amblezon Jungle.

 

It would take a day or two to travel to the center of the jungle, even if the jungle weren't actively trying to prevent us from getting there. We avoid, tackle, or trick all obstacles the jungle presents to us, and after a lengthy period, and if we don't all die, we reach the centre. And what happens there? You'll have to find out. 

 

The Amblezon Jungle has even more dangerous creatures than the Everfree, and seems to be strangely organized in its attempts to keep ponies from reaching its center. Nopony has ever managed to reach the center and lived to tell the tale. Nicolas Cage and Alicorn Amulet, if they are willing, will help me control the jungle, and attempt to impede the expedition's progress, or else to kill the expedition ponies.

 

(When I say the jungle is organized, think of how the hive-minded Alien Formics, also known as buggers, from Ender's game, are organised; or perhaps the way the Urgal clans, always hostile to each other, were bent into a single unified army by the shade Durza in Eragon are.)
