Akemi Homura 7,681 February 5, 2012 Share February 5, 2012 I think humans are long overdue in the show and they need to be added as soon as possible. I am stating this opinion of my own free will and I have absolutely not been tied up while somepony else hijacks my laptop to spread the word all over the internet. - Lyra Jack They'd have to make a REALLY good story if they intended to have humans in the show. At least, that's what I believe now.

Jadefire 2,798 February 29, 2012 Share February 29, 2012 I recall reading a fancomic where Celestia was a genetically engineered creature created by a human scientist trying to scientifically study magic. When the project was cancled, the scientist adopted filly Celestia as a surrogate daughter (and a companion to his human daughter). I don't know if the comic was ever finished or not, but Celestia outliving the human race is an interesting concept nonetheless. Ponysona bio, here. Queen Cassie 3,058 February 29, 2012 Share February 29, 2012 Truthfully, I do not believe humans exist in any sense in the FIM universe. The one and only possible indicator for humans is a tiny little drawing hidden in the background of one episode, a drawing that could just as easily be explained away as any number of things, including an easter egg/design gaffe on the part of the animators who just included something a little kid would draw in the background to have it. Until a human outright appears on the show, something I personally hope never occurs, I don't see why we should assume humanity exists at all in the FIM universe. 1 Used to be known on here as Kyronea. ponyvangelist 732 February 29, 2012 Share February 29, 2012 (edited) Planet Of The Ponies Many centuries ago, long before the reign of Princess Celestia, humans ruled the earth, and ponies were slaves. The humans used them as beasts of burden, their hides as clothing, their bodies as glue, and even ate ponies for food. One day, while a pony named Caesar was hitched to a plough, his owner shook his reins and told him to "giddy-up". Having been enslaved, overworked and mistreated all his life, something within Caesar snapped at that one crucial moment. He slowly turned his head, looked his master in the eye, and said just one simple word: "No." Soon that one word, that one symbolic spark of defiance, and the story of Caesar spread from one pony to the next, and eventually throughout all ponydom. Inspired by Caesar's stand for freedom, they rose up against their human oppressors, visiting upon them the ruin and indignities that had plagued ponies for millennia. The wars that followed were bloody and bitter, but eventually, after generations of battles, brutalities and atrocities unimaginable, the ponies prevailed, vanquished the last remaining humans, and boldly strode forward to create a new world in which ponies could run free and live happily ever after. And that's how Equestria was made! Edited February 29, 2012 by ponyvangelist
Princess Ariona 402 February 29, 2012 Share February 29, 2012 Probably humans for ponies in Equestria are like dinosaurs for us. I'm absolutly happy there are no humans left in nowadays Mlp show, cuz they appear almost in every cartoon and film -_-

Daring Do 195 February 29, 2012 Share February 29, 2012 Well, like some other people said, humans are like aliens to them. It is the same situation for us. Extremely intelligent ponies with the ability to fly and use magic is improbable(WHY), and it would be the same way for them in the case of My Little Human. Super intelligent monkeys with the ability to dominate and destroy the earth. Great adventuring for great treasures!....Except when I'm hurt... Twi Rubix 726 February 29, 2012 Share February 29, 2012 Like others said, G1 had humans, but was maybe a different time. Comet Tail 808 February 29, 2012 Share February 29, 2012 Is quoting this many posts a bad thing?... I just read and want to reply I'm pretty sure, no. The series was created with ponies in place of humans. So no humans. I bet there are monkeys, though, and don't forget Spike is bipedal and has aposable thumbs. As for imaginary humans, no, because almost all fictional critters we humans have imagined are based off of some real animal or other. But humans... Hairless monkeys with long limbs and no tails that walk straight up, without any slouch? Very alien. I seriously doubt anyone would come up with that. Pretty much any animal you can think of has A ) Fur, Feathers or Scales B ) A different walk than humans. No primates do. Closest thing is a Kangaroo, I'd say. [Forgot about spike...] C ) A non-flat face D ) A tail I always thought it would be humorous if some ponies loved a show called "My Little Human" and humans were just a figment of their imagination. And there is a human-shaped thingy on the wall of the Cake family's baby room, but that episode has so many holes and hurts a lot of side plots and ideas so desperately that rather than continue the endless debate the episode is we rather just ignore it. One thing I noticed was sometimes the babies' diapers would disapear for a camera angle, then come back for another. I wouldn't be surprised if there were other inconsistencies in that episode. Also, apparently they learn to fly at a super young age, and unicorns can fly and phase through walls. This makes imprisoning unicorns impossible (hey, maybe that's why Twilight said "What dungeon!?" in Hearth's Warming Eve - because unicorns don't have dungeons!), and either the baby was a flying prodigy, or Scootaloo has flying issues. Lol, and if I were Twilight, and I came and saw Pinkie wearing a diaper and one on her head, I think I'd respond a bit differently... I sure hope not! Unlike them, We're a bad race We're not all bad... And they have the enormous advantage of a benign, immortal, super-wise monarch. I'm sure Earth would be a lot more like Equestria if we had a Celestia. we humans will be long gone before the time of the evolved intelligent pony race. all they'll find of us are the written and video like info we left behind. and I'm not so sure that will survive either. How would those survive? More like pyramids and skyscrapers, really. I'm sure if any archeologist goes to Manhatten they'll find a pleasant surprise. Assuming it's not in the same location as Manehatten Well, like Colton said, the ponies' minds are technically human. They even speak English. That must count as some sort of proof that humans exist or existed in Equestria. As for the glue thing...in Equestria, glue isn't made from animals, it's magically made. I mean really, like anypony would kill an animal in that world. Except maybe Discord... The English part is just translation from pony language I'll have to go with other folks and my other reply. Too many inconsistancies in that episode. Truthfully, I do not believe humans exist in any sense in the FIM universe. If their universe is infinite, then anything with any chance of existing exists out in space somewhere So humans are in space somewhere, presumably. Though I agree, I like the show without humans. Spike is close enough, lol. the series 1 (1986-1987) had humans, as for FIM im not sure, there is talk about how rainbow dashes dad being in the human universe although i have no idea what started it, it was supposedly mentioned in an episode although i haven't seen or heard it myself Look up "My Little Dashie". Extremely intelligent ponies with the ability to fly and use magic is improbable(WHY), and it would be the same way for them in the case of My Little Human. RagingTwilight 101 March 1, 2012 Share March 1, 2012 I don't think humans would fit very well in the pony universe...the idea of humans however, I could live with, insofar as they're viewed as mythical creatures. It's not unthinkable that humans would be dreamt of by ponies, especially if close relatives to humans (chimps, for one) also exist in the pony universe. Though as to their idea of what a "human" would look like would still probably differ than what we actually look like, though I don't think it'd stray too far. On a side note, I get a huge kick from fanon Lyra being obsessed with humans and wanting to be one.
