Need Opinions on OC Design

So, yesterday I had finished drawing a new OC I had been working on. However, I had drawn a bunch of different versions. So, now I'm asking you guys to vote on them.

 

Quite a large file, so going to spoiler it down.

 

 

 

Any and all criticism is welcome. If the poll has a very strong majority, I'll upload a shaded and fixed version of that. (All the eyes are off because lazy)

 

Please note: This pony is supposed to complete a set, that is supposed to represent Grass, Water, and Fire.

 

Sunny Leaf (grass) (I drew this a long time ago. So sorry that it looks like crap. I should draw more of her.)

Firebolt (Fire...)

 

Any cutie mark and name ideas are also welcome.

hmm 15 looks the nicest as a design for wither Water/Ice or wind

I'm going more towards just water. So I don't really think that would work. Thanks anyway though!

 

I may use a rough design similar to that though.

 

Since the majority by like one vote (since 4 people voted. ) was to one, and that's my personal favourite as well, I'll upload a shaded and add some more stuff to it version here. Thanks everyone!

9 or 15 in my opinion. The color scheme looks like clean water shining light off of it. Her name could be something like  Raindrop/s. Cutie mark... Uhh like water? Lol. No idea.

That's what I was thinking, but was hoping to do something a bit more original then just a standard water drop.

I though about this for a few minutes, but my ideas just kept coming back to different containers spilling water ( how original is THAT?) Only a few Ideas stood out. Maybe a black rainy cloud or a big wave with white foam on top. Just some food for thought.

I'll vote for 14. I'd vote for 8, but the mane looks a little to plain. Something like a wet towel tossed on the head. Good work! Hope you decide on what's best for you Good luck!!!!!

Ideas for name and cutie mark welcome though!

Mehhh might swell suggest a few names.

 

Considering she represents water, immediately it associates with "aqua"

 

But i'll start with a few simple ones instead of manipulating Latin words.

 

Hydrobeam. (Would go well with firebolt )

 

Fresh breeze.

 

Aqua mane.

 

 

Cute mark:

 

 

Something like a bent wave or a breaking wave with maybe a little steam... (would also represent the power of water)

 

 

For now that's all i can think of... (names can be a pain to create...)

I have a rough idea for the cutie mark, but I'm also adding a bunch of stuff to the pony itself.

If you are still looking for opinions I like 10 and 16 the most, they are fit for the watter / ice element and but still don’t go over exaggerating the inspiration behind them.

 

In my way of thinking watter/ice are the calmed wise elements. They wait and rise with might but can be turned into a torrent and storm and for that the 10 and 16 designs go well. They flow and expand and the color scheme of 10 and 16 fits to that very well.

 

Also I like the most 16 the sort mane one. Why? Well both Firebolt and Sunny Leaf both have a long mane and the contrast in the char design can be good in a set.

 

Any way good stuff hope to see them all together soon.

Looks good! Not sure if the bands should go over the outlines, or if you're doing it correctly.Can't wait to see it finished! I also like the new name for the grass one you're planning on giving her

Not done the bands yet, they are going inside the lines, but I have to do some adjustments on Photoshop first.

I'm doing the short mane version, however I'm making it a dark blue and white... but that's going to happen later.

 

 

I just finished the image. I still have to think of the cutie mark, but the regular thing is done.
