Recently haven't had any ideas for anything ever. Except for something Discord, but dammit Discord, why you so hard to draw?

 

So there's this which took far too long.

I'm not really sure if I like this. It's just... meh. I want to have another inspirational piece like Stained Glass dammit.

 

As said in title, Critique wanted. I always miss things, and critique is just lovely. So thanks!

 

EDIT: Just realized how bad the shading looks on the mane and most of the body with no color.

 

FUUUUU--- Not fixing it.

I think it looks nice Looks nice and clean, sharp edges and the shadows make it look nice. The smokey look to the colors makes it look more menacing/interesting (if thats the right word to use here? )

 

All of your pictures on your account look nice If you don't mind me asking, how did you make the "desktop pony animations"? I have made anime catgirl sprite waving using paint and GIMP, which I am assuming would work.

 

I need to try drawing something... I took art class for years come on I think I can draw ponies!

I took an art  class next semester, because vocal was cancelled. I really hope I can draw ponies. Because humans are just... annoying for lack of a better word.

 

I should probably be studying for exams instead of drawing ponies, no?

Exams are next week for me, I never study though lol. Straight A's and no studying or homework in all advanced classes

 

You would enjoy some of the classes my school has; computer art is one of them. I don't know if you could do ponies very much but it would no doubt help probably, maybe. I don't know I didn't take it

 

Oh, on the topic of annoying things to draw. Most of what we did in my art class was people, mainly hands.... OMG I wanted to quit after a while   lol. It wasn't a bad class though, just a bit awkward and weird. Most of the kids watched MLP and were making each other take MLP personality test all hour and the teacher was taking them, funniest thing ever as she didn't care one bit.

After having the honour of watching you draw for a little while, I now have a whole new respect for raster artists, the amount of work required is just amazing. I don't know if I'll ever be able to live with the prospect of not being able to edit a line after it's been drawn without having to erase it and start over

I kinda like it to be honest, I don't really notice anything that stands out as wrong, well actually I don't really see anything wrong with it, but idk . Still its very clean, and it actually looks pretty cool, Trixie doesn't look half bad grayscaled .

Buck color. Actually what I was trying to do was just have the red, because it's so... dull just being normal.

 

I think I'm going to draw the mane 6 next. That may take forever.

Very good, very, very close to show accurate.

Her right frontleg should sit a bit farther back on the body and the amulett should face forward (the base of the neck does not rotate when the head is turned).

Maybe add some magic around the horn.

It's when you only use one color in a picture. It's also called selective coloring and color popping.

Hah, I thought it was the back leg that wasn't far forward enough. But I see what you mean. And I think the neck would turn with her head a bit, because her whole body is supposed to be curved. How well that shows up is a different story. I also didn't think the pose was appropriate to have her horn glowing, but that's just me.

Draw Woona as a heart-attack-causingly adorable little filly raising the moon for the first time, or one of the first times.

Ooh! Ooh! Or manipulating the stars in the sky. :3
