Scootaloo is my favorite by a lot. The other two just don't stand out very much. Sweetie Belle or Apple bloom will never be my favorite.

Sweetie Belle is my favorite of the CMC, by far. She has a lot of funny moments and was really cute in Sisterhooves Social.

I like how she is also naive about a lot of things, it's just an extra bonus.

People don't vote for Applebloom because her talent isn't very... appealing. Scootaloo is awesome on a scooter, and just cute. Sweetie Belle has an amazing voice.

Apple Bloom's a cutie pie, and often I feel I relate to her than any other character in the show. Scoots is alright. I don't really care for Sweetie at all.

Sweetie Belle all the way. Cute voice, great singing voice, marshmallow, her mane and tail look great and work well with her marshmallowness... I just find her cutest. Being Rarity's sister doesn't hurt.

 

I find her most compelling overall, lol. Apple Bloom is second, me like her. Scootaloo is last, I don't find her particularly interesting but I don't really have anything against her either. I like em all~

 

But don't even get me started on Sweetie Bot. Not counting when she acquires her yoyo, hammer, and other objects of FUN.

Applebloom is my favorite CMC! How can anypony not just dawwww at her adorableness? I couldn't resist. Her accent is pretty adorable as well. I find that she's the most humorous of the three. Scootaloo, to me, is just a fillified Rainbow Dash. Not that that's entirely a bad thing, but thus far, her character has been rather flat. Now if the show were to actually use Faust's idea for Scoots being unable to fly due to crippled wings, then we might have some intense character development for her. Sweetie Belle is pretty cool and I think she can be pretty fun. I find Sweetie's character interesting her desire to be like her sister, but is more carefree and willing to get down 'n' dirty than Rarity is.

Scootaloo!

 

I like all the CMC, which is surprising, because I usually find child characters in cartoons irritating. But they way they are written, drawn and, especially, voiced is so excellent that I can't help but love the CMC.

 

That said, Scootaloo's my favorite because of her no-nonsense attitude, her distaste for sappiness, her Dash worship, her cool scootering talents, her flying "handicap" and, most of all, her million-megawatt smile. She's the whole package.

 

Conclusion:

 

 

Scootaloo is Best Crusader.

It's hard to pick a favorite because I love them all so much. But for me, I think I like Scootaloo just a tiny bit more. The idea of her being crippled is extremely sweet, and I hope we get some more character exploration of her in Season 3.
