We also just got an English Shepherd puppy recently and she is probably the most adorable thing I have witnessed. I love small dogs like the miniature schnauzer, Welsh Corgis, Scottish terriers, Beagles. Big dogs kinda intimidate me. "I am and always will be the optimist. They are not a dog for someone who is a first time dog owner. They need lots of training and a human who knows how to train them with respect and love. Hands down, best breed.
