SWAG.MOV coming in for a landing!

According to twitter Max Gilardi is setting up an internet connection at this very moment, with the intent to upload SWAG. If you didn't already know, the upload had previously been delayed several times. Once after his hard drive was wiped, and a second time after he was struck by a car after fruitlessly trying to upload it.

 

I kid you not, he broke his leg.

 

I'll link to the video I'll let you know as soon as it's up. I know most everyone has been waiting a long time to see the epic conclusion of the .MOV series as well as the Jackapple Tumblr!

 

UPDATE: Apparently he's having trouble setting it up and is having a technician come to his house on Wednesday.

Holy hell thank god. I have been waiting for SWAG.MOV for ever. I wonder if the ending will be as awesome as season 3. It would be cool if it tied in a little bit.

Excellent. I've been at the bit waiting for this as much as everyone else who's enjoyed the .MOV series. I also read his entire Jappleack comic that he wrote on his Tumblr, which supposedly takes place prior to SWAG.MOV, since it says 'To be continues in SWAG.MOV' at the end of it.

It's a very famous series of video parodies of MLP created by a Youtube animator who goes by the panhandle of HotDiggedyDemon. He has his own website. The series of MLP:FiM parodies are called the '.MOV' series among the fanbase, due to HotDiggedyDemon putting '.MOV' at the end of all their titles. The series goes in the following order:

APPLE.MOV

DRESS.MOV

SHED.MOV

MAGIC.MOV

PARTY.MOV

And, now, the supposed 'final' addition to the series, SWAG.MOV, is coming out.

 

Unfortunately, the .MOV series is obscenely crude and NSFW for posting/linking on the forums due to the violence, swearing, sexual innuendos, etc. But, it's hardly difficult to find. Type in any of the above names into Google or Youtube itself and they'll show up instantly.

Yeah, like I said above, probably a better idea to not link directly to the video, seeing as this stuff technically is NSFW in many ways. Just announcing that it's done, and is up on Youtube, etc is good enough ^^

I can't help but feel that these delays (excluding getting hit by a car, of course), were just a bit too conicidental to be 100% believable. I mean, what are the odds that SWAG.MOV would be delayed until just after the Season 3 finale?

 

Of course, skepticism aside, I hope Max gets well soon, and never gets hit by a car again. I can only imagine the pain... *cringes*

It depends on your humour style. Max is a lot sweeter than you'd expect him to be in person. Yeah, he's kind of a jerk at his panels, but he doesn't mean it like that. My kicks are quite sick and twisted so that is probably why I get them fairly well, maybe except for DRESS.MOV. That one was just okay.

Try Jappleack tumblr (and MAKE SURE to start from the beginning, or at least from the beginning of January 2012). At first, it seems like any other .MOV thing, but it has a lot of heart if you stick through with it. The art is surprisingly good, too. While I couldn't care less about SWAG.MOV before, if it's a bit more like Jappleack, it might be really good.

I watched it about an hour ago. It wasn't really anything special. It was basically the same as the other ones. But to be honest, I really didn't expect much.

That was incredible. I really like that the series has taken its' finale to become more than just a trollish parody, like how the series started out as. The movs' up till now have been just that, but with his Jappleack Tumblr and now this final installation of the series, Demon has shown that change and such is fully possible, even in a world so far gone that it seems, well, a lost cause

 

This remained funny, had more than enough epic to it, and had both meaning and emotion. The best installation thus far if you ask me. Also, Dashie came back, got to kick-ass in the spotlight, and Scootaloo urged them on from the sidelines. Oh yeah. So much yes from me on this.

I thought the episode wasn't bad but wasn't that great either. It stayed funny while also becoming somewhat epic in the end which is nice (though the Jappleack tumblr beats it on both fronts I feel). The episode gave some solid closure to the series, so I'm satisfied with it.

That was a pretty funny .mov. I didn't know there was something with mlp for humor, especially a mov. Not bad at all.

I guess people can hate it, if they want.
