music 00's Music Thread

So there is a thread for 90's and 70's music, so I thought I would make a thread for 2000's music.

 

I'm not a fan of 00's pop music, but I do like a lot of rock/metal from the 2000's.

The 2000's got the best Electronic music and most of todays electronic genres were developed during this period (my favorite one being Hardstyle). Besides Hardstyle, my favorite genre from this period is Dubstep, mostly old school Dubstep

 

 

Besides Electronic Music, I love Arctic Monkeys and Coldplay, extremly good bands

Two of my most favorite albums

And Holy Tears being my most favorite song

I'll give out my respect to Deadmau5, him being one of the only

Modern EDM artists who can put atmosphere into a track

And one of the only modern electronic artists who can venture

I actually have a good number of songs I love from the 00's. I'd say more than I do from the 80's and 90's. I know that sounds weird, but the 00's have Streetlight Manifesto!

Meh, I prefer 90's metal BUT, Children of Bodom was the band that got me into melodic death metal (and metal in general). Plus, they put elements of power metal in their music. In fact they were the first Scandanavian band that I ever liked. The 00's had lots of great melodic death metal .
