Which Two Mane Six Ponies Need More Screen Time Together?

Just like the topic says, pick any pairing of the Mane Six ponies that you think needs more screen time together. I've always liked episodes like Fall Weather Friends, Green Isn't Your Color, and Look Before You Sleep because of the amusing character interactions, and I'd like to see more of these kinds of episodes in season 4. You might select a pair of ponies because you think their friendship needs more development, or simply that you like the interactions between the two ponies and you wish to see more of them. Feel free to pick more than one combination on the poll and tell us why you think that way.

 

For example, I think I'd like to see an episode dedicated to Applejack and Fluttershy's friendship. I can't recall too many moments between the two, so to me, their friendship feels somewhat tacked on at this point. I think the two of them together in the spotlight could produce some really interesting moments due to their differences. Strong pony vs weak pony. Outgoing pony vs shy pony. They both have different animal skills too, so I'd like to see the two of them embrace each other's differences and also find some common ground.

 

Another pair that feels like it could use some development would be that of Twilight and Rainbow Dash. Out of all of Twilight's friends, it feels like Twilight has spent the least amount of time trying to help Rainbow than the others. For that I would like a Twilight and Rainbow Dash centered episode.

Rarity and Applejack because, we all know that Rarity deserves screentime and Applejack is a honest pony and very dependable. So it would be fair to have them share the spotlight together.

Rarity and Applejack, Rarity because she needs more screen time period and Applejack because for one thing they are the two mane 6 with the least in common with each other so there is alot of opportunity for some very interesting character development maybe it could an episode where these two very different ponies actually share a common interest perhaps one you wouldn't expect one of them to be into.

Hm, idk the majority of these could use screentime together, I mean Rarity and Pinkie I can't recall ever having much of a relation episode together, I guess because they don't mix all that well, but still.
 

Fluttershy and Aj could use an episode I guess to, and even though Pinkie and rainbow have had one, I really like watching them together, and I don't mind Fluttershy and Rainbow's episodes together, however they get a pretty hefty chunk of time together really.

 

I can't really pick specifically well on which one . Twilights got screentime with basically everypony in some way though, and even episodes with the majority so she's probably good for the most part I think. The others are all pretty good possibilities.

Guys, we've had at least two episodes which pitted Rarity with Applejack together already- Look Before You Sleep, and Sisterhooves Social- while it wasn't the focus of the latter, they certainly had their share of interaction.

 

I want to see more with ones we really haven't seen paired together, like Rarity and Rainbow Dash.

Rarity and Dash, Applejack and Pinkie Pie. We haven't seen much of their interactions except when they're bugging each other and I think there's a lot of potential with these.

I'm still surprised that there hasn't been more screen time between Rainbow Dash and Rarity, I mean, they have a lot more in common than most tend to let on.

 

One of my disappointments with Read it and Weep(which was a still good episode mind you), was that there was hardly any interaction between Rainbow Dash and Twilight especially considering the focal point of the episode, but I do hope that it leads to an episode in season 4 featuring the two(as well as the possibility of Rainbow teaching her how to fly)

 

Much like Rainbow and Rarity, I also think there is more commonground between AJ and Fluttershy than most think.

 

And AJ and Pinkie, just because

You make a good point there, one that I haven't really thought about.  Rarity's more stereotypically feminine, and Dash is much more of a tomboy, but I do see something there.  They're both the most self absorbed ponies, but also the most thoughtful of others.  RD's cockiness is a more tomboyish equivalent to Rarity's vanity, and their respective elements- loyalty and generosity- have one big thing in common, and that's looking out for your friends first. 

 

I'm surprised there hasn't been an episode between these two that played on the idea of "they're more alike than they think".

but also for that fact that they haven't had an episode by them selves before (we believe they haven't)

I barely see Pinkie Pie and Applejack hang out. It's weird...I really think they need more screen-time to talk to each other and interact.

It seem that they are neglecting THREE ponies. when i look at the character appearance guide Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie havent gotten an episode focused on their friendship. Nor has AppleJack and Pinkie Pie as well as A.J. and Fluttershy.

I dunno, a whole bunch. I love Dash and AJ as a duo as I friendship them super hard, Pinkie and Dash are good because they're prank buddies, etc. Now that Twi has wings though, something I'd love to see an episode somehow focusing around would be Twilight and Dash's relationship; since Dash only really cares for the Daring Do series, it's hard for Twi to bond with her rainbow friend over books, so she uses flight instead.

Personally, Applejack gets a lot of screen time. Which is fine by me, since she's my favorite, but even though, she's pretty much the second most seen pony on the show - major role or not. If any of them need more spotlight, Rarity and Fluttershy need more screentime. Rarity, for obvious reasons of having zero episodes in season three, and Fluttershy for just not being used all that often in the recent season. That's just based off of my memory and standards, however.

I cannot think of very many times that Pinkie Pie and Rarity have been together.  I remember them playing tick-tack-toe, and riding the train tracks.  Am I forgetting some significant interactions?

They were together in Putting Your Hoof Down trying to help Fluttershy be more assertive. They also had a humorous moment in Return of Harmony when they tried to catch discorded Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie forgets to secure the ropes.

 

But I definitely agree, more Pinkie and Rarity would be nice.

given how the two clash a bit more on the side.   Now

S4 should have Pinkie Pie and Pokey Pierce episodes to destroy fanon.
