At the end of the day it's up to the members of the RP to write long posts if they so choose. Another RP im in has the normal post limit but still has fairly long posts because of the people in the RP. Let's just make this roleplay a normal one and if we have enough material to work with then we'll write long posts. But if we are just answering a question or doing something simple we can still make shorter posts.

 

Of course it won't matter if we never have a chance to make any posts so....@@Flareon,...you uh....you gonna make that RP thread or what?

Sorry guys. I was busy yesterday beating up Spain and Ethiopia in the name of mighty Denmark. And let's just say that Ethiopia doesn't exist anymore, and I stole two cities from Spain. I'm considering giving one of them back to Songhai, because Spain stole Timbuktu from them in the first place. But I like Timbuktu! Nah, I'll give Songhai Barcelona instead. At least Timbuktu's a port city. And I need ports to refuel my navy.

 

Civilization V is addicting.

 

I'll get started on that RP now. Sorry to keep you waiting. 

 

It seems the consensus is to make it a normal RP. Sorry, Vaporeon. Let's try not to leave anyone in adverse time zones out, okay guise?

 

And @, I know this is off topic, but if the Eeveelution thing ever dies I'd be happy to be Celebi for you. But I'm a loyal Eeveelution. I'm not going to be the first to leave this movement. Why don't you just be fakemon Eeveelutions? There are certainly enough of them. I mean, come on, Mecheon and Pesteon are bada**es. And Veneon's eyes will steal your soul. And Duneon's all chill. Like Brock.

If your character isn't originally from Johto, they arrived in Olivine on the SS Anne just like mine did. If they're from elsewhere in Johto, see if you can get them to Olivine, for the sake of meeting everybody else. And it would probably be better if everyone ended up travelling in groups of, say, three, instead of us all just going together in a gigantic pack. Make sense? We can bump into each other fairly often, that would be fine.

I figured it would be by coincidence. Perhaps some can meet while going to train at Olivine's famous lighthouse, where all trainers go; some can go try to get into the Battle Frontier (which is not open at the moment; renovations) and some can go to the Gym, see if it's open.

You did it wrong. I believe you're simply supposed to become 'Jirachi' and put who you really are in the sig. Like mine. I'm not Flareon (Descant). I'm just Flareon. And like Victini's. Look at Victini's format. He's got that he's formerly N-Harmonia in his sig, and he has all the other legendary fairies listed there as well. He'd probably add you to the list if you posted about joining in his thread.

That would be perfectly fine.

 

It looks like a battle might be starting soon. Just know that, as DM, I will highly award any ingenuity. The more original and unusual your techniques, the more likely things will go your way. Just saying.

I know what Venoshock does, and I'll describe its effects if it hits. Not that Venoshock's gonna do a lot to a steel-type. Jasmine's probably going to recommend you go battle Whitney or Chuck first.

That's a tad overpowered for this early in this RP, broski. 

 

Gastly can't even have Bad Dreams as an ability. And Abra can't have Big Pecks. Gastly's only available ability is Levitate, and Abra can have Synchronise, Inner Focus or Magic Guard. 

 

Now, for moves... Other than the fact that you should really only have four at any given time (Its fine if they change from battle to battle), there's no way Abra should be that powerful. This early on in the RP,  I think a prime moveset for Abra would be Teleport, Hidden Power, and Light Screen. Possibly Return or Double Team as well. Considering we're running on Anime logic here, that would be a fantastic moveset for Abra.

 

You can use moves here out of context of their game counterparts. Ash beat Brock by having his Pikachu set off the water sprinklers in the building (admittedly by accident) and James' Weezing's smokescreen has ignited and exploded before. And I doubt a Squirtle could do this in the game. 

 

Similar case in Infernape using Flame Wheel and Flamethrower together. 

 

Just trust me on this. I'm a Pokemon Master. No, legitimately. I completed the National Pokedex in Black version, minus a few unobtainable legendaries.

 

And like I said earlier, any ingenuity on your part will be thoroughly rewarded.

You can always just check google or the Pokemon wiki if you need to know certain things. (its what I'm doing :3) As for moves I think it would be best to establish a level for each Pokemon to start the RP on.
