I'm looking to buy an entry level controller. There's ones for about $100 without jogwheels, and the ones with jogwheels are about $100 more. I know they're useful, but are they necessary?

 

For someone just starting to mix music, are the wheels worth the extra?

you're probably better off asking in Creative Resources or so about this. i know very little about audio equipment as of now, but if you'd really need those jogwheels for your mixing, or if they'd just be "a fun thing to have", i think that should be the consideration of whether or not 100 dollars more is worth it.

Problem is, I can't draw that fast.

 

A lot of my past work was destroyed in the Great Potato Crash of 2012 (long story short, hard drive failure), and all that's left are small remnants scattered in my deviantART account.

 

It took a long time for me to get it right, too.

i was thinking that we need more parody musicians in this fandom. i mean, sure, we have a few, but the fandom is overpopulated by electronic music. not that that's a bad thing, i love a good wub wub more than the next person, but it gets boring that all we have is pretty much that, with a few other genres sprinkled in.

i'm working on the lyrics for a brony parody of 'Holiday' by green day.

You know, I had a similar idea, but it usually involves me "Ganaramianising" the lyrics, not so much ponifying the lyrics...

 

Plus, this song reminds me of a big city, but maybe because the band (and the song) sounds like something torn from 1980s Los Angeles.
