Ohh, how's living in the mountains? o:

I have lived in the mountains for 13 years, we just recently moved back to the city area, I'm in the Denver area of Colorado.

 

Living in the mountains might be beautiful, but it's expensive, I lived 45 minutes from the closest city (which was Denver still) and I ended up getting trapped at home a lot because it was too far to go to town, which I loved to do.

 

I know my yard was pretty much a forest and I do miss it a bit, but I like living to where I can BIKE to stores and go places.

 

I do drive a car and I love to drive, but sometimes I cannot drive the car so it's good to live close to places.

Ahah yeah, I understand. Though, I've been living in the city and all for a long time now, and sometimes I just wanna live somewhere completely away from it all. Plus, can hardly see any stars, which makes me sad. 'Cause I'm such a sucker when it comes to the beautiful night sky. ;_;

 

Were there any animals invading your home though? Just curious.

There were not any animals that came, we always had deer out in the yard from time to time and sometimes we have even had elk, but we never had any other animals come though. I have never encountered a bear or a mountain lion before, which is a good thing.

 

It was cool to live up there, I went to a school system with not that many people, which was good. Even though the people there weren't all that awesome, even though things got better later though.

 

I miss it a little, but there is a lot of things I will not miss about living in the middle of nowhere.

Ha, we get rain all year r'ound. Sometimes even snow. But that's Oregon for ya. Once it snowed in July here. And sometimes it snows and rains at the same time in the winter, causing the worst weather ever: slushy, puddly, muddy, icy mess everywhere. D:

I really love rain, but one thing about living in Colorado, is that weather is unpredictable and it's very dry here.

 

I wish we had huge storms where it rained a whole lot some days, I really like that type of weather, but we don't get it here.

 

Here it's unpredictable, and when it rains it rains in certain places and sunny close by.

And ive no idea why you can write user manuals much more easily than you can fanfics. And you write both pretty darn well at that.

I was only able to read your message AFTER I came home from the class I had to retake. Plus I only ever had a completely neutral mind in there.

Also, have you ever read the manuals I had to write?

Philippines. It rains so much there, you'll wish you lived in the desert. I'm completely stuck in the desert.

I so totally want a massive downfall here. Last time that ever happened where it rained incessantly was when I was in 6-8th grade, and once more in, I think, 2010.

I cannot really stand the heat. The cooler climate of the northeast helps with that.

I'm accustomed to the temperature being 100+ and the humidity being around 100%. Doesn't really bother me anymore. We've had more rain this summer than any past one I can recall though, and this year has been cooler than average.

I am the type that prefers hot and humid. Hot and dry isn't really what I like, even though I prefer hot and dry then cold and dry.

 

Pretty much I would prefer it to be cold and humid or hot and humid then it being cold and dry or hot and dry.

 

Even though I live in Colorado where it's dry all the time so I'm not used to the humid but all I know is that I prefer it, I like to breathe in the moisture in the air, I like that.

 

My ideal weather would be hot and dry, but not too hot, even though if you want to go to extremes, I prefer extremely hot then extremely cold.

i found that Dashie fic to be highly overrated. if there were to be any signs of fatherly instincts in it, it's lost and brushed off quickly because of omg dashie filly irl so kyooot. the gigantic time skips in the story distances me from it all further, too. the ending is the only thing that was the least bit emotional, because it separated them both from each other. but it doesn't work, because i don't see a bond between the two. i don't see "father and daughter", i see "some guy and a rainbow pegasus filly".

 

keep in mind that i value family matters highly, so i tend to be rather critical when it comes to that kind of thing.

My Little Dashie didn't phase me much really.  It was sad but I've had bigger tearjerks thrown my way.  That and I'm just a hard person to really get to in general, at least when it comes to making me want to cry.

Most of the ones I read are short stories that were either copy/pasted from somewhere or posted as images on Ponychan, so I'm not sure where to find them now. Two that I do remember are Bubbles and Today Tomorrow, and Forever. Also, if we're talking about sadfics, there's one that I really liked called The Circle of Friends, which I highly recommend you read while listening to

She's my favourite CMC, but that's not why I chose her. Before I joined MLP Forums, I was a member of 3DS Forums. There were groups or clubs you could join and there happened to be one for MLP. Everyone in the group was assigned a pony and one of the only ones left was Apple Bloom, so I took her. I got an Apple Bloom avatar and kind of became associated with her, so when MLP Forums launched and I was trying to come up with a pony related username, she was an obvious choice.

I guess there are upsides to it as I am pretty much THE Apple Bloom fan of the group, and that's what everyone pretty much knows me as. xD

 

Those who know me online and by my username, when I first meet them in person at a meetup they ask who I am, all I have to show them is a picture of Apple Bloom and they are like "Yup, I know who you are." It's kind of great. xD

I've seen that anime but it's been so long ago, I don't remember much about it. It probably had a similar effect on me though.   I used to watch anime all the time, especially those that had romance and sad or tragic moments. For some reason I like anything that makes me cry. My favourite would probably be CLANNAD. It's a cute anime, but has a lot of sad moments, and I like how it follows the characters from high school to parenthood and even has an alternate ending and an after story if you're not satisfied with the main series.

 

Also, if you love sad stuff and don't mind live-action, there's a great J-Drama called 1 Litre of Tears. If it doesn't make you cry, you must be the manliest man in the world... Actually, I think it would make even the manliest of all men cry. Seriously, it's by far the saddest thing I've ever seen.
