Huh, The 3D doesn't really matter to me, I would only get the system cause there's some games that I want to play on it, that I can't play anywhere else... 

Then go for it, I guess. What I meant was, if you have a normal 3ds (xl or not) already then I would not say to grab a New 3ds as I don't think there's games on it that you can only play there. As far as I  can tell, its nothing but a faster 3ds with better 3d (which, you don't care for so that's moot) and the ability to read and use Amiibos.

I can back you up as much as possible, however, do remember I'm for balance over one pure way or another. Disharmony and Harmony must be near equal for that to stay, but I can't tip one over past the other.
