Yeah, I breathe through my nose.

I suppose it would be hard to start doing it, pretty sure it'd expand your sinuses or something.

your mouth is just shut all the time and you breathe entirely through your nose? 

 

I'm genuinely shocked by something I guess is obvious. But to be fair, not a single person mentioned it to me my whole life

I've never done anything the "right" way. It's actually unhealthy, thats why I get sore throats, because my mouth is open at night when I'm sleeping. But I'm just now finding this out :/

now I have to re-learn how to breathe

Horses can't breathe through their mouths at all. They can cough, but they can't breath in - they gotta use their fuzzy noses.  :D
