Anyways, why is this called General Chat Thread? I thought this was too random for that

 

I told y'all… It took an arrow to the knee…

 

Actually, the random label caused some problems with spammers and other such riffraff. The negatives outweighed the positives, so it went back to being the general chat thread to allow things to cool down.

Before you could get some good conversation going as well as nice fun. Once we had it changed people did pop in more, but they also came in with really random shit that usually wouldn't do anything to help a conversation go on. that could interrupt ongoing conversations as well as get annoying when done enough, like most spam does.

 

It just basically grew too out of control to the point where no one really cared for it anymore...
