maybe it's the case, but I saw Scootacool RP thread, nice amount of brohoof, outer people brohoofed, settled players, actually I recall Berry Pie being interested in the train RP and he ended up in Scootacool's RP instead. traitor

Anyways, I may sound like a butthurt kid but being a mod gives you a certain amount of popularity, and if you are a nice one like Scootacool, it's even better.

Eeh, you can be as nice and popular as you want, but that won't protect you from everything.

Being a mod could also give you a certain amount of hate for just being a moderator. A double edged sword, it can be.

Dude, were you here in this thread earlier when I was tarred and re-feathered? Have you seen all the other times that I'm attacked with flamethrowers? That's just the stuff that happens publicly. Private messages are totally different ballgame. But I digress…

 

If you go back to the very beginning of my posts, then you will see that, in fact, I was “popular” before I became a moderator. Being a moderator has brought me none of the “glory” that so many folks seem to think come with the role. Mostly, it has brought duties and responsibilities. It has also brought the occasional horde of angry peeps milling about my door with pitchforks. (Not to mention countless hordes complaining about the “popularity” of moderators. I'm still waiting to walk down a street and see roses all over the place and adoring crowds throwing money. Mostly, my time is occupied with the grunt work, putting down rule breakers, and fighting armed thugs.)

 

I think that the popularity of my RP games is mostly because they are mysteries (which are rare as RP games) and also because they invite walls of text. The popularity of this most recent RP game in particular is due to the fact that the first one died a terrible death because of players leaving the site. Most of the players in my current RP were also players in the original RP and they are really pumped to get this going again and to not let it die.

 

Also… Berry Pie was originally going to join the first version of my RP. The RP game that you are a part of was created quite recently. My original RP game was created back in early September. I would argue that, far from being a traitor, he was quite loyal for joining my attempt to get another RP going.

sorry, when I joined you were a moderator already, and I have heard nothing but good things about you, and that was when I never ever interacted with you.

I find the reason of your other RP's dying innevitable, if these users didn't leave the site, it would be keep going I would dare to say. I really think that Ganaram got lucky with his game, even though we aren't that much players in it.
