I just had an amazing glass of chilled apple cider. From Mercier Orchards, not Sweet Apple Acres (yet. sorry Applejack)

 

I must say though, if the Flim Flam brothers (spelling?) want to compete in the market with Sweet Apple Acres, they should just make a Peach Cider, end of story.

The party ended just as sudden as it was started.

 

Twilight tried to keep herself from hyperventilating, but it's undoubtedly hard to do when your guts slashed open. Her lavender coat was caked in her own blood, what was left of her underbelly scattered across the room. She tried to recall any healing spells, but none came up.

 

Everything happened too fast. Just a minute ago she was smiling with her five friends, giggling like a school filly. Fluttershy being her usual self stood a little bit further away from the table. Rainbow and Applejack tried to best each other in their own small contest. Rarity was busy admiring how Pinkie had overdone herself this time. Cake, punch, ice cream, all that was good and tasty was ready on the table. Everything was ready, all they had to do was to wait the partymare to show up with her latest invention. Pinkie was very enthusiastic about this latest project of hers, everypony had no choice but to attend the small party behind Sugarcube Corner.

 

Everything happened too fast.

 

Twilight could feel her vision started to dim. No, she said to herself, she must stay strong. She tried to push her innards back to their place inside her with another burst of magic. With sheer willpower she managed to stabilize herself. She tried to look around. Her friends, or at least what left of her friends, scattered all over the room. Blood and feathers and bones littered the once bright room. Twilight resisted an urge to throw up. What just happened? As on cue a pink mare bounced happily into the room. She gasped, her eyes looked around inspecting the carnage.

 

"What does THIS thing do?! hey, whats with the red stuff everywhere? is it punch? ARE WE HAVING A PARTY?"

 

Twilight tried to speak, but her lungs failed her.

 

Pinkie, completely oblivious, quickly dashed across the room and hugged the dying unicorn. "Oh, Twilight! I'm so happy you improvised the room for me. I never see any party with punch spilled all over the wall like this!" Her smile was vibrant as usual, she continued, "Anyway, you have you tried my last recipe? The exploding cupcake!"

 

Pinkie Pie motioned an explosion with her front hooves, Twilight's weakened form slipped from her mind. With her last breath, Twilight whispered.

 

"You are so random..."
