When we receive the banner, we will have a look at it. It has to have an appealing design, specify matching button colors, and the right dimensions and quality. If it meets those standards, then there is a good chance that we will use it. We will judge it at that time, just like we do with the other banners that we receive.

 

Frankly, I think that this is perfectly fair. Furthermore, I would like to challenge you to find another MLP-related forum that works as hard as we do to even feature user made content in the site theme. Do you know why most of them don't? Because it isn't worth the aggression and hostility that sometimes arises from those that feel their favorite character has been "scorned".

 

If you want something featured, attempting to bully the administration to get it will not work. Why not contribute your own banner to help us out? We have plenty of forum members that would be more than happy to give you tips. Why are being hostile instead of being constructive? Do you think that this is what AJ would approve of? Hostility instead of hard work? 

1. Can you give me an instructions link on how to make a banner for this site (And how to submit one)? If Wubs won't make it, I might as well.

 

2. I'm just pissed that AJ had her banner on for only a day (Less than that) and she hasn't gotten any since, even when you had the oppurtunity. Like the Christmas Day banner? That didn't need to to stay for a week. You could've put the banner there. The New Years banner? Didn't need to be on for a week too. The holiday only last for a day, You could've atleast put the banner then and there, but noooo.

 

3. I'm not trying to harass the mods or anything (Unlike last time between me and CD, but you know how mah day went) but still........

Oh Celestia, I've known about this far too long. ONCE UPON A TIME IN A FAR OFF PLACE CALLED HOLLYWOOD VIDEO, a girl looked for a VHS tape to watch. She found a CGI-animated short feature called "Farkleberry Farm". She got home, popped the tape in, and prepared for a fun little flick.

The banners that we use are very high quality images. You lose image fidelity when you resize them.

 

JPGs are lossy. PNGs are what we generally prefer because they produce smaller file sizes without loss of quality due to compression algorithms.

I've started watching Mark Crilley's manga drawing tutorials on youtube, they're so good I don't even want to go downstairs and get food. He has tutorials on just about everything. Even a tutorial on kissing. I know.

I'd say Libby and Starshine are some notable examples. I get this serious, somewhat douchy (Yeah, I'll be honest. I get that vibe from them sometimes :/ ) vibe from them sometimes, but other times, they're just so random and weird that I forget that. I think it's because Star is 25 (Which isn't even that old, I dunno......) and I expect him to be more mature amongst us younglings while Libby, well, you know how it is.
