after fiddling some more with the sound, i found that decreasing the decay made it sound less whiny and more like a muffled guitar. the sustain also increased the whine part. it definitely sounds better now, i just need to find a good balance for it.

I've been looking for a way to get a decent electric guitar sound with a synth since the beginning time.

Well, I just saw that Eternity's End video that Bluetrace posted quite some time ago...

I immediately started crying once it started...

Lost it once it got to the message at the end...

My feels are are just...

Broken :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

I also woke up ungodly early because of early morning allergies...

Only good part about that was that I actually got to watch the season finale on tv with my mom whom hasn't seen it yet :3

We both shed tears whilst watching...

So, how is everypony else doing today :)

is what it currently looks like. it's not perfect, but it sounds fairly decent for shredding right now. there's something about it i want to change, but i'm not sure exactly what.

okay. after a few more hours of sound design, the electric guitar sound is going along pretty well. the problem is, however, that it doesn't get any higher fidelity whatsoever, i.e. the 5k and 10k hertz frequencies aren't present in the sound. therefor, it sounds like it's been played through a inferior kind of recording equipment, or a radio.

help?

The only way I can manage to make things sound the way I want them to is to just fuck around with the settings at absolute random. I'm basically like i-have-no-idea-what-im-doing.jpg all the time when in FL.
