I just found out today that it's impossible for me to hook my Xbox 360 up to my PC monitor. Since my monitor only has one VGA and one DVI slot, the latter of which is taken up by my PC, I thought I could buy a DVI to HDMI cable along with a DVI splitter, plugging the splitter into the monitor and then the DVI to HDMI cable into the splitter and the Xbox. Before I made the purchases, I asked a guy at Best Buy, and he said it wouldn't work. The signal would get screwed up.

yes, i feel better. how long it'll last i dunno, so i'll probably send that email i have to my family so they have a bit more awareness of how i tend to feel like. but i feel that i might be getting out of these dark, trudgy weeks i've had recently.

 

i'm trying to make another sample based song. so far i've got a good placeholder for lead and kick, but i'm having trouble figuring out how to get that fat-sounding bassline. i think it's a big squarewave of some sort? i dunno, i'm not sure how to do that. hell, i'm not sure how to make any good sounds, so i'm just testing samples out of what i think is right and see how that works. i probably shouldn't be too worried about using presets now since i'm so inexperienced.

Aww, I would have possibly done Zero had I known ahead of time. Ive been wanting to do Megaman for a while, although, Ive been wanting to aim more at the Battle Network series.

 

 

Due to randomly naming myself after colors in a Skype chat, I decided to go with Ruby from the Pokemon manga.
