It's just me still learning to drive so I can obtain a driver's license, saving money so that I can pay off some stuff maybe even own my own home, and various other stuffs

What kind of car are you learning to drive in? Or are you just studying right now without the actual driving?

 

Your own home... man I have a pretty good job and I still don't have my own home, I just rent. I'd recommend renting first to get some experience or talking to home owners to see what they did before moving onto that. Though getting your own house would be mega-swag, won't even lie.

If I knew anything about Japanese media I'd help out but unfortunately I am no expert by far and I'm not even that fond of it. But I like your website well enough so I'd like to see it take off.

 

I understand, you're probably just antsy because this website is finally live after you've been working on it for a while and you want to see it succeed and nurture it so that it grows. Makes total sense to me. Granted, some people are probably going to turn you down but let's keep our fingers crossed that this first guy is down for it and would like to share his content with you for your website.

You're very perceptive, pretty much all of this is right. I've had one rejection so far, a polite one of course. And I assume maybe 3 or more others since I didn't get any response but it's hard to tell because most YouTuber's are either too busy or too popular to check all their messages. I'm no expert in anime, or manga, but I know a tonne about videogames which Is what my YouTube channel is based around. I also like to do some retrospectives and reviews of anime, and manga but games are what I would call myself an expert in due to spending an un-naturally long time researching them. That's why I really need someone, hopefully several people to cover anime and manga for me. Touch wood this site takes off, I like the idea of having a little community based around it.

Like I said, I'm not a Japanese media guy myself but having a community of like-minded individuals, like our very own forums, is always awesome and to actually start your own community is probably awesome. Driving and license should be super easy, its the other stuff that may take a while. I doubt you'll get anywhere near a house in only a year, but good luck anyway.

I know that, I've had failures and successes, so far my best success is getting distinctions in all my units for my first year of College studying software, really hoping it's the start of a winning streak, I could use a break. The site is a learning experience, I wanted to get more into Japanese media, I've been a YouTuber for years of moderate success, and after seeing the owner of the YouTube network I'm in become successful I guess it's really kickstarted a need to try the site. So all of that seemed like good enough cause, that and running a site is useful experience since I'm studying programming and web development. Well I'm off to go outside in the most dismal looking weather you've ever seen, at least it's not raining. I might come back with hard cider.

I hate the winter, cause it just crept up on me. Just yesterday it was nice and warm in the mornings...today I woke up, got out of bed and proceeded to freeze to death. I jumped back in bed, and now I dont want to go to school.

Well the good news is tomorrow is the first day on my job, I might be doing just computer training for all the 8 hours I have to be there tomorrow, I gotta wake up very very early. xD 8 AM in the morning is when I am scheduled to go in. xD Maybe my lack of sleep last night will actually help me go to bed earlier tonight so I can be up bright early tomorrow.

 

Then Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be the Brony convention that is here in Colorado. I hope that it ends up being a good weekend, and I hope I have fun. I will be volunteering, though the majority of my friends are staff there which is meh for me.

 

So anyway, how is everyone doing? I am pretty tired. xD But I can't really do much about that. I won't be able to sleep until later tonight, as I can never take naps. xD

Traffic just sucks. I don't seem to deal with it very well.

The one thing I strive for is relative calmness. Even if the fan hits the sh!t, if you can find a way to make yourself smile or laugh, your brain can't emotion itself into being happy AND mad at the same time, so it has to cave into being happy.

1. I played against my brother, who had an Azban deck. He provided me a deck to play with where part of the strategy employed tapping a creature to draw an extra card at the expense of discarding another. I got him down to 1 life point before he got me down to -80 life points.

 

2. This is why they have radios in the car, and also why I prefer listening to the radio whilst driving. Somehow it makes me operate better than if it's just white noise.

Decent deck strategy but that would actually help my deck out since it relies on having a lot of cards in my opponent's graveyard. I'll double crush you if you use that.
