Dear Celestia, you've reminded me of a particularly humorous guy I met once.

A friend and I were at a party, talking about different castles that we've visited, and I say to her that I've visited about six.

Then, some random drunk dude walks up to us and says, "Oh, you've been to six castles? I've been to a hundred castles!", and continued to one-up any claim that I mentioned... even the clearly false ones.

 

From that day forth, the term "hundred castles" has rested in my vocabulary, reserved for whenever someone tries to constantly one-up anything I say.
