Okay, at least it isn't total common knowledge so I don't feel like an idiot.

I didn't realise this until orientation, but the primary difference, at least for me, is intensity. Used to be that you'd have two 18-week semesters and now you're going over to three 10-week quarters. Because of this, there's a quirk in the start dates in that I have an extra month of summer break.

 

The next difference is the kinds of classes you take. A little harder to explain because, chances are, what they call them and what you take likely varies by major and university. Let's just say there are higher-level classes compared to community college.

Makes sense, probably.

Collage= smaller institution that typically offers nothing higher than bachelor degrees

 

University=much larger institution offers up to PHD and will usually have specialist schools attached (Law, Medicine, Engineering etc etc)

I just learned that one of my friends in my English class has a crush on a girl in the same class (And she sits right next to him :3) Although, he only told me this after I told him about this one particular girl I'm kind of seeing.

I have not been in here in FOREVER. How is everyone doing? I have been busy with work, friends, trip to Florida, and stuff like that. It has been a long couple weeks, I also got pelted with merchandise by a customer at work a few days ago cause I wouldn't sell him cigarettes because he asked an ID-less young girl that could be underage what she wanted, and cause she didn't have her ID, I was not authorized to sell him cigarettes either cause of that, so he got mad, cussed me out, and eventually threw the stuff he didn't buy at my face. People these days, all my coworkers said that guy was a donkey (you know the word they really said) and they told me I did the right thing. I need to get out of cashiering and move somewhere else. Or maybe go toward my career.. If I can even get on the right path for that...
