Celestia is the bestia. 

I really like to imagine what it would be like to sit down and have tea with her. It would be chamomile and I would take mine with a splash of cream and sweeten it with a spoon of powdered blueberry and we would talk about all sorts of things, books, philosophy, life.

That reminds me! There was a fan fiction over on fimfiction. It was an alternate universe where Celestia followed Sunset Shimmer into the human world because she wanted to bring her back but then she got stuck there. She ended up telling her human counterpart everything and moving in with them, I think they even told people she was their niece.

It's been forever since I read it though  I can't remember the title. I'm gonna have to do some hunting on fimfiction to see if I can find it. I kinda want to read through it again.

I found that fan fic I mentioned in the other post. I totally forgot that it was a mithril moth story. It's not finished and he passed away. 

It turns out that a fan wrote a continuation but I don't know how good it is,

That's what the spike is for? I thought it was just a weird design choice like her light pink skin.

Also are all ponies pink without their fur? Snips and Snails were pink in Ponyville Confidential after the gum incident

Princess Celestia has been a favourite of mine since I started watching FIM about 10 years ago now and while I do feel her character could have been handled better especially later in the show what's done is done and she's still a favourite.

I enjoy Celestia's earlier depictions as a graceful ruler and mentor but with a charming playful side that could shine through from time to time and the story of her past with Luna is just so rich and compelling, it is no wonder there is so so much amazing fan work exploring and honouring just that.


I popped in mostly to gush over just how much I love her being descried as "the beautiful sky on the clearest day" and bringing light to the fact that the as brilliant as Celestia or the sky may be, they can in fact be so very distant, much more than we ever realise as mentioned in a comment under this PrinceWhateverer song.

Celestia in my eyes is truly a fantastically thought up character with so much depth and such a touching story. near divine yet so flawed as to contribute to her sisters fall and the thousand years that followed.

Princess Celestia is so adorable, I do wish I could be her friend. Fanfictions are not portals sadly. I did write a fan fiction where my imaginary self got reborn in alternate timeline Equestria, and though I may not go along with everything Celestia does, she is at least merciful, she wants to understand others motives instead of assuming the worst about you just because you made a mistake. Some fans criticized her for how she responded to Twilight Sparkle in episode A Canterlot Wedding, but how was Princess Celestia supposed to know that a Changeling impersonated Cadance? the problem is people do not think about themselves in another's situation often enough and think they know it all. I doubt I would've reacted differently in Celestia's situation, misunderstanding the situation at first, I think I would've been angry with Twilight as well, Celestia at least kept her temper in check not to get violent against Twilight, not enough fans give her credit for that amount of restraint, it's disheartening sometimes, to see fans be overly harsh in their judgments about MLP characters.

I'll try, There's a lot to work out in the fanfic, including the interactions with other characters. Princess Celestia would be involved, but I don't know how to do this yet. There is one comedic segment where she gave my imaginary self character a lecture about trainsurfing in the badlands, which occurred right after being teased by students at her school in this alternate timeline. Moral of the story, trainsurfing is bad.
