But it can't just be 'romance' and that alone!  It should have more!

The story should start off with two ponies. One, a rich pony, the other poor. Both are rather huffy towards each other, and thoroughly dislike their way of life. Suddenly they both get caught in the other one's world, and after coming to realise just the kind of hardships the other faces in their daily lives, the two ponies begin to respect each other, becoming friends, and eventually lo-...

Guise. What if we make a tragic romance story? Like, something bad happened before the RP. Like a fire. Or a fire. So it will be a:

Romance, Romance, Romance, Tragedy, Romance Roleplay.

I actually made a roleplay where people could create their own tragic love stories.

But no one joined.  xD  No one...at all...

Uhhh.....I'm not sure of the romance thing would work out. There's to much romance, not enough flirtation or love. I would play a bromance story. With friendly insults, stupid dares, and of course, bro beforehoes. So my genre RP pick would be bromance bromance bromance bromance bromance bromance bromance bromance

OC: Pinoak Stringhoof, Puppeteer and storyteller.

some people go do things in a bed. We rp before that.

I don't have many ideas. Or If I do they suck and wouldn't last. But I can say NO ROMANCE. There is too much of it. like we can incorporate it in if people want to do it but it shouldn't be the focus.

cat videos. Reading. Reading about cat videos. Sleep. TV. Video games. Oh youvmeant as "that" well yeah lemmie just say if that's the first thing that came to mind then you need help. 3rd or 4th is OK but yeah.

 

I like romance rp's more than the other. I can just plonk any OC in and flesh them out with backstory and personalities. With adventure or action you have to have an OC with at least a bleak interest in that, like one who WANTS to go on an adventure or see some action. If you don't have an OC like it's going to be bad. With SoL you're litterally living another life. That's not fun. That's not why I role play. Romance takes things I like and puts them together. They're fun and good developers and if done correctly, they can be different each time but with the same premis. Romance.

 

But hey that's just me.

Do you all remember 'Infestation of Love'?

Well, I loved that roleplay.

But it died.

Should I do a reboot?

Because it wasn't my roleplay...

 

Or...

I could try for tragic love stories again?

no. I wasn't in "infestation of love" so this is all new to me.

But how would tragic love stories play out?

no. I wasn't in "infestation of love" so this is all new to me.

But how would tragic love stories play out?

Infestation of love was a roleplay were changelings took form of ponies and made other ponies fall in love with them so they could feed.  The roleplay barely started and never ended.  And I was having so much fun xD

 

Tragic love stories would be anything.  Every pony finds a partner and creates a short story that eventually ends.  When that story ends, they can make another one if they choose too!

For example:

My Chamois Vine falls in love with a stallion.  Shes untrusting and all but finally accepts that shes in love.  Then he breaks her heart.  He realizes his mistake, but Chamois is already gone.  She left Ponyville.

Or...Angel Feather falls in love with a stallion.  Yay.  Stallion has affair or something.  Angel finds out.  Before he can apologize, Angel Feather died or committed suicide or something...  (so dark)

Or...Mystical falls in love with stallion.  Stallion breaks up with her.  Mystical goes and does something stupid.  Stallion doesn't give a simple fuck.

 

Cx A million ways you could go with that really.

I'd join a dorky tragic romance rp.

 

Plusheren falls in love with stallion. Stallion wouldn't share his cheese sticks with her, so she pours a cup of melted chocolate ice cream on his system, and then she dies. Then a fire. The end.
