Should the elements of harmony prove that their the elements of HARMONY?

now your most likely wondering "What the buck are you talking about Kaidou? Ofcourse their the elements of harmony." Now I dont deny their names. however Harmony has the same meaning with Peace, and the opposite of peace is War, and In Over a Barrel when the battle between the buffalos and the westren ponies happened The Mane six did shit to bring peace between them, The Peace happened Because of a fluke the mane six had nothing to do with, So in that Episode the mane six failed as the elements of harmony because they couldnt stop the battle. I think that there should be an actual war Between Two Amries so powerful that anything that tries to stop them by force gets Destroyed by the dust of the battle and Twilight with her friends have to Stop it with reasoning before everything is bucked up.

Anyway, I like that idea! I also like the idea of Alicorn Twilight needing to negotiate peace between warring armies, since it's something a princess would need to do. Also, I'd love to see the other five give her advice about it.

 

Only problem is that I doubt Celestia and Luna would let two other nations quarrel like that when they're princesses of Equestria.

I am talking about two forces that arent from equestria, since we know theere are places outside of equestria. Also Like I said Those two armies or even two persons being two damn strong to be stopped and therefor Celestia and Luna cannot do anything

Oooh. Gotcha. So then why wouldn't Luna or Celestia do the negotiations instead of sending in six teenagers? As you said before, they weren't such great shakes at being "Elements of Harmony" in The Last Roundup.

I know, it took me a little bit to understand it too. I think he means that if there were two powerful warring armies, that it would be cool to see the Mane Six settle negotiations instead of bucking it up like they did in The Last Roundup.

The elements of harmony are not a godly power that have the ability to change how people think, you can't just defeat ignorance with the concept of harmony.

 

Harmony is very easily disrupted by chaos and vice versa, neither are absolute. In fact, I would go as far as to say harmony is weaker than Chaos.

I would argue that by banishing/reforming Discord, helping stop the changeling invasion, and getting rid of Sombra, they were bringing much more harmony to Equestria than it would otherwise have.

 

But in any case, they actually did help two sides make peace. They helped Celestia and Luna reconcile in the second episode. That seems to qualify

There's no need to be "That" picky... The ponies are harmonious enough. You can always manipulate something that would seem to defy something, but that doesn't mean it's mandatory to do that...

I don't know if I'd say the other Mane Six have to "prove their elements". Each one has already had had many chances to display their attributes. Some more than others, but yeah.

 

That said, two parters that test the resolve and bad assery of Mane Characters who are not Twilight would be dandy.

well seeing as how MMC had the entire population of Ponyville ready to kill each other, I'd say they do plenty to keep the peace and spread harmony
