I gotcha there I mean everyone has their preferences. And for me I like their older stuff tongue.png  Kinda how I feel the same for Green Day completely different genre... I absolutely love their older work but their modern stuff is well.... meh.  So yup

Oh yes, I feel the same way for In Flames and Metallica. Godly early releases, then they try to pull off some radio friendly crap.

Gee, I hate to sound like a douche but, I don't think Guns N' Roses was ever that good to begin with. They have a couple of decent songs but nothing else. Plus, Axl Rose is a major douche.

I kind of agree about the System of a Down song, but what's wrong with Sweating Bullets??? That's a great song, I like that song a lot.

I just don't like it, something seems off to me.  You know it's like that one song by a band that just doesn't sound good to certain people or something.

I love their older albums to death. Kill em all, Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, In Justice for All etc. you know what I mean.

Yes, In Flames did the exact same thing. They're the Swedish equevelant to Metallica. *sigh* I have a friend who likes In Flames but has no idea who At the Gates are. dry.png That's like if someone told you that they liked Metallica but, then they tell you that they have never heard of Slayer or Exodus.

I love Metallica, don't get me wrong, but Lulu. Just, good lord is that album fucking awful! Any song on that album deserves to be in this thread, big thanks goes to Lou Reed for destroying this album!

 

 

 

This song by Skream is awful as well. I fucking love Skream, one of my favorite artists of all time, but why on earth he had to do a song with Sam Frank is beyond me. THe instrumental version of this song is pretty good but Sam Frank just ruined this entire song with his awful distorted voice. Anticipation was a good song though

Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast by Pink Floyd, which is the song that, to me, explains why Roger Waters hated Atom Heart Mother so much. A bunch of sounds of breakfast and someone talking in the dullest voice ever just ruins it, even if the bars of music, spaced widely as they are, aren't bad.

Scentless Apprentice by Nirvana. Kurt, I love you man, but your shrieks in this get HORRIDLY aggravating in this one.

 

 

Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers. Well I guess I'm already kind of mixed with these guys since I mainly just like their Blood Sugar Sex Magik album. Most of there other songs get very old and monotonous after a bit. This is one of them.

Bro, that's like one of the best songs off of In Utero. I honestly can't think of a Nirvana song that I don't like. But I could say the same for many bands.

This is one that comes into mind. I'm not really a fan of Slayer, and I'm really picky with Thrash Metal in general, but this is a pretty awesome song.

This actually is a hard question to think on, as it's difficult to think of any songs I despise by bands I love.

 

I may have to take an easier way out, I love The Beatles, but there is a solo Paul McCartney song that I just can't stand:

 

 

It's just so... ugh... Cheesy. I think the soprano saxophone makes it that way. I hate to hate on a form of one of my most favorite instruments, but... really... the soprano saxophone is not my favorite.

I just remembered that there is, in fact, a Beatles song that I really don't care for. Come Together. I do not hate it, I just have never understood the appeal for it.

Probably every song on the Metallica collaboration album Lulu. It was just terrible. I know I'm not the only one who thinks this. Maybe one day they'll release a new actual album. Its been almost 5 years since Death Magnetic and still no new album plans announced.

My class had to write an essay about a genre and about a band we liked, so I chose Metallica. After entering James Hetfields wiki page I noticed that a troll had added "table" as one of his professions xD. I haven't laughed that much in a long time laugh.png

 

I should one day change my name, avatar and sig in memory of these deep lyrics :P

I really quite dislike most of what's on the Diabolus in Musica album from Slayer (with the exception of Point, which is actually one of my favorite songs). Death's Head is also alright, but everything else...bleh.
