I got a character idea, and I want to see if you guys like it. I saw this:

 

 

And thought what if there was a filly in the CMC class that has one of these named Hope? Is this a good character idea? What do you guys think?

hey, I think I've heard about that pony before. Does her name happen to be 'Molly'? I learnt about an amputee pony called Molly in school, and her story goes that she was attacked by a dog, and one of her legs got infected, so they had to amputate it and, the gave her a prothestic leg that had a smiley face on teh end of it. Am I correct?

If there's going to be an episode about disabilities, it better be with Scootaloo (with her flightlessness and all) or I'll be calling it a wasted opportunity. It'd be a better lesson, anyways, to show kids that main characters can be disabled without making it the entire focus of their lives or their personalities.

Definitely seems like a legit plan, I don't think soccer mums can do anything to stop this idea. I'd love Hasbro to make this canon, so many fan fics, music and art dedicated to Hope will be just flooded in EQD if this happens lol

Ooh Yay! A fancy vector of Hope. Glad you find her so adorable with her glasses and stuff. So far, everyone has liked the glasses, so I guess that means I made the right fashion choice with her.

First we get Derpy who for some reason is seen as mentally disabled even though she isn't. Then we have Snow Drop who is blind and now we have Hope who is Physically challenged.

 

I approve of the idea and i hope it get's picked up.

I shall support this idea as it is excellent and not overly controversial. It would be an excellent medium that could translate to any kind of difference or disability. I could see it succeed where Derpy failed(got booted) in teaching that differences are okay.
