What job would you end up with in Equestria?

I would be a performer. Although, everything I do that involves performing now needs fingers...sooooo...that would be a problem considering I would want to be a pegasus. Maybe a baker ? Or professional flier...or something...

I would probably be a DJ/Musician, since I really do like music. I would be a very exclusive pony musician, who will only perform at very special events and nightclubs. It would really be an honor to work with all of the musicians.

I like writing fiction, but what use would that be when I'm living my dream world? I suppose I could make up other worlds, but I see my writing as more of a hobby than a career. I don't think I could come up with content fast enough to make a living. So that's out. 

I like computers and web design, but since there's no computers, laptops, or internet in Equestria, that talent is pretty much useless in that case. That’s also out now.

I also like bus mechanics. Hm, no buses or even autos of any sort, so once again, useless. Don’t really know if I’d want to go to Equestria. If I did go though, I’d be a pegasus, I’d probably marry Rainbow Dash if the opportunity presented itself, and just generally hang out with her and Twilight, help with weather maybe.

I'd help my husband as a blacksmith or I'd be an instrument maker....My OC is what i'd be in Equestria.  I want to be an instrument maker IRL but I don't want to be away from my husband if I went to school.

That's a pretty good combo there Instrument makers often need custom tools, so it would be quite handy to live with someone who can make them, or at least have the equipment around to make them yourself.

 

My life probably wouldn't change too much. Judging by various background pony cutie marks, ponies are capable of playing guitars despite their lack of fingers, so I'd keep on making them. And probably do magic research on the side, since I currently do electrical/nature of matter research on the side. I also make video games, and thus far we haven't seen any in the show... but Gamer Luna may count enough to be able to continue that as well

I would probably try to aim for a doctor like my Dad. I always want to help sick people,and help find cures for diseases. If I couldn't be that then a carpenter wouldn't be bad job in Ponyville. Even though I have limited skill in carpentry I would just learn more from my Grandpa and Dad. They're quite the handymen!

I would definately be a rockstar.  It would be the best job.  I am not sure how a pony would do that however, I am sure that magic would do the trick.  Playing on a Gibson Les Paul rocking out in equestria.

 Hmm, I might become Discord's or Zecora's assistant if I lived in Equestria. They're probably my favorite reoccuring characters and Maybe not a full assistant, since I wouldn't want to work as a herbalist/potion or chaos-maker person as a career, but maybe something very related to nature, art, and chaos. I have so many interests :'O  My cutiemark would probably be a brain or something, since I think so much and I want to learn much; I don't know if I'd stay in one career, I'd probably switch from one to another like I want to in real-life. If I were to become a pony, I'd want to start as a filly :3

 

 

Anyway, as a career, I'd be migrating from zoologist(or something scientific) to artist to writer, etc. Two jobs at once. So it wouldn't really change much, career wise, but role-model wise and economy wise, yes. I could really get into this so I might have to do a full blogpost on this one to collect all of what I think. Anywho, that's what I think would happen for meh

I'd surely be a royal guard, my strong sense of justice, belief in the order of law, and love for Celestia would all compel me to be a royal guard. In addition, I'm at least a semi-talented fighter.

Equestrian Royal Guard.

 

I plan on joining the military irl so this is only logical for me. Specifically a Psychiatrist in the US Army, but I'm not sure if Equestria has psychiatrists..

 

Anyway I tried to make a cutie mark based on this, it's a quill crossed over a sword. (All the knowledge based things that come with being a doctor crossed with protective assault/defensive tactics that comes with being in any military.)

Just like my OC, I would probably have something to do with potion-making, since medieval medicine, and proto-sciences are one of my favourite topics of discussion. Now being able to re-enact some of those things, yet being able to incorporate many of the romantic mis-conceptions of the medieval medicine into the real world. Dang, someone needs to quickly hand me the closest Mortar and Pestle.
