movies/tv Weirdest Movie You've Ever Seen?

I remember seeing a movie called 'Eraserhead' years ago-really disjointed flick, has become something of a cult classic now I hear.

Something about a a guy with really sticky-up hair and his girlfriend and her weird family-there was a scene where they're all sitting around the dinner table with what looked like mini roasted chickens on plates in front of them. The legs start moving, and all this stuff comes out of them. Just one of a whole movies worth of strange crap.

Weirdest movie, eh?

Well there are a few i could go with, but to me the most strange one i've seen myself has to be that godawful "Bad Taste" movie.

Just take a look at it :

Lol I was going to say Bad Taste as well, before LOTR, Peter Jackson was a pretty sick fellow img-1427954-1-biggrin.png. Oh well, I'll say Dead Alive/Braindead, which came right after Bad Taste if im not mistaken. Also a Peter Jackson film, those crazy New Zealanders.

Heres the trailer, Im not sure how to post videos. nevermind, it worked img-1427954-2-tongue.png. And for the record, I loved this movie, made me laugh more often than most movies I've seen. Super gory too, but in a comical sort of way.

I love you guys for mentioning those! I didn't know people on the forums even knew about Bad Taste or Eraserhead! :3  (eraserhead it awesome btw)

Before I understood the whole symbolism of it, I had regarded Battle Royale as the weirdest film I'd ever seen. When Kitano just suddenly gets up to answer the phone after he's been shot dead... and then dying again... had me seriously confused. :3

Nowadays it would have to be Cabin In The Woods. I like the fact that Cabin in The Woods is critical of other horror films for filling in certain stereotypes, so it purposefully pointed it out. But what makes it weird is all the encased horror creations that they have; a girl whose face is three mouths within one another, a snake-car hybrid, a man with a circular saw surgically attached to his cheek. They came out of absolutely nowhere, and the film implies that someone actually sat creating these things before adding them into their "horror creature reserves". For me, that's weird as crap. tongue.png

Yeah agreed, Cabin in The Woods was seriously weird. The ending was just hilarious.

Anyways, I've seen so much weird shit I can't even remember it all. I know there is this one movie that was so weird I cannot even... Though I dont remember it's name.

But here are some weird movies I've seen

Rubber - This is a movie about a tire that kills people by making them explode. And in the middle of the movie there's a turkey in someone's house coming from nowhere.

Though this movie is awesome haha

Hausu - A japanese movie about some girls who all have some totally weird ninja abilities. They come to a weird house and from there everything is just...weird.

Pink Flamingos - I cant say much about this movie.. It's just.......erm. Super Weird.

Haaa- I remember seeing this years ago-filthy stuff indeed. The end scene was all real btw-I looked it up to see if it had been faked somehow-that 'Divine' dude was a sick puppy, no pun intended...

Ok its probably not the weirdest movie ever but its weird to me because I really don't watch that many movies.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail is pretty strange. The entire movie was one random event after another happening to King Arthur while he searches for the holy grail. And the ending was never expected. Its still great for a laugh no matter how many times I watch it though.

Probably Space Balls or Broken Lizard's Club Dread. Space Balls is a spoof of Star Wars that all other spoofers need to take a lesson from. BLCD is another spoof movie that did well mocking horror movies.

Watch the Feast movies with @@Jokuc has to be pretty high on my list of weird. All I have to mention is "The Toddler Scene" and the ending... just wow...

But of course there are the ever loved The Room, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, Killer Clowns From Outspace, The Human Centipede, Rubber, Birdemic, and many, many more.

There are quite a few posted here I've always wanted to watch like Eraserhead and Tokyo Gore Police.

Though I've really been kicking myself for not watching this...

Monty Python and the Holy Grail is pretty strange.

The Monty Python movies as a whole are in that weird subset of brilliance that only happens after you progress through bad, really bad, terrible, absolutely unwatchable, brilliant.

Never figured out how that worked exactly-the rabbit scene with the Holy Hand-grenade Of Antioch was one I went back to a lot from that flick.

'Life Of Brian' was another one with a lot of memorable stuff-the whole Biggus Dickus scene rolled me up every time.

Ugh, for some reason everyone loved these two movies and they were the weirdest things I've seen to this day.

Has anyone see The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus and not know what the hell was going on? I haven't seen it in a really long time, but I remember I turned it off part way through and mourned the hour and a half of my life I'd just wasted. I was so confused and when I wasn't confused I was depressed.

Also I thought Pans Labyrinth was super weird. Of course, I watched it when I was like 13 and when I got it from the movie rental place I didn't have a clue what it was about. I thought it would be something akin to Alice in Wonderland. So I sat in my living room, trying to read this Spanish film and figure out what was happening. If I got distracted from the words for two minutes I was completely lost. I've never gone back to watch it again, now that I'm older it may not be so strange... but Idk.

Gamer was a pretty fucking weird movie. It kept jumping all over the place. I mean one minute you got guys shooting each other up then it pans to this incredibly fat dude with disgusting eating habits, and then to this kid who has these british girls flashing their tits to him, and then to these guys dancing for no reason. WTF?

The Human Centipede 2 was quite messed up. Especially the infamous sandpaper scene. Don't even know why it was necessary to put such scenes in the first place.

For me, the best 'weird movies' are the ones that make no sense at all, and yet at the same time leave you with annoying questions that make you want to follow up and do internet searches on what the writers were trying to convey. With that criteria in mind I offer three movie titles.

Eraserhead - Yup, its already been mentioned in this thread several times and yes its a damn weird movie. The thing is, even if you start with the premise that 'this movie makes absolutely no sense' you're still going to try to analyze it and try to break it down and explain it, and you just end up feeling foolish in the end... cause honestly this movie is pretty much pointless.

Videodrome - Death to Videodrome, long live the new flesh!!!  LOL, I like this movie despite its somewhat dissapointing ending. I'd say this movie is open to interpretation but I think this movie is mostly about how we are more or less controlled by what we see on tv and other electronic media (like the internet)... but thats just my take, and it is ultimately a bizzaro (albeit enjoyable) movie.

Donnie Darko - I had to watch this movie several times before I finallly understood what was going on, but unlike Eraserhead and Videodrome, you can eventually zero in on what this movie is about. Simply put: this is a movie about someone who gives up his life to save the life of another... and that's that.

End of Evangelion. About half way through that movie I could have sworn my brother put LCD in my Pepsi.

First half is an ugly but entertaining movie about fear, finality and self-destructive behaviour, last half is a 45 minute rape of consciousness involving creepy sandbox children, blurry footage of people fucking and giant glowing women with forehead vaginas that consume crucified robots.

There is a scene where the monster raped a cat too img-1451041-2-tongue.png don't forget about that one!

And yeah, the ending of the last movie totally takes the price. It's friggin hilarious and genius at the same time hah

So watch them, Feast 1,2,3

What? Pan's Labyrinth is an amazing movie! I honestly don't see how it can be seen as strange. It's a typical Guillermo del Toro movie! One of his best works.
