Firecracker ultimately decided to try to conversate with the group; walking over to the table where they were. "Am I'm not interrupting here? If not, can I join in the conversation?" he asked. Firecracker can be a little shy sometimes when approaching a group but other than that, he's fine.

Moonbeam saw a rather dashing stallion walk up and ask to join the call. "O-of c-course you can join the call...I-I'm M-M-Moonbeam...t-this is Nightraxx...and this is D-dogboots..." she said bashfully, getting a little more shy upon his arrival. "W-what's your name?" she asked, trying to seem friendly.

"Ah. Right. Nice to meet you." Firebolt said to the random mare. Of course, it was never very "nice" to meet someone in such a fashion. It really wasn't a good image. "I'm far too tired to say anything though. Well... at least I know there isn't much oxygen here." The mare said, accidentally thinking out loud, though still quiet.

Before Dogboots even had a moment to respond another pony came up to the group. The stallion didn't really recognize him but he could tell from Moonbeam that she seemed somewhat nervous around the pony. Of course the stallion shrugged it off. "Your friend, Sorrow has been in there for quite a while shouldn't one of you go check up on her? I would do it but she doesn't really know me." He suggested to both Nightraxx and Moonbeam.

Firecracker noticed one of the mare which is Moonbeam acting a bit nervous around him. "I wonder if anything happened to her...?" wondered Firecracker. But that really wasn't an important matter; right now, he had to introduce himself right now. "My name's Firecracker. It's nice to meet you." He then noticed a waitress coming up to him to take his order.

"Your friend, Sorrow has been in there for quite a while shouldn't one of you go check up on her? I would do it but she doesn't really know me." He suggested to both Nightraxx and Moonbeam.

"Oh, yes. You're right. I'll be right back." She looked at Dogboots and then at Firecracker. "D-don't you move...." She ran into the infirmary, only to find it completely empty. She searched every nook and cranny of the place before she finally came to the medical closet, which was locked. She knocked on it. "Sorrow!? Are you in there? Sorrow, I'm so worried about you! Please tell me you're in there!" she exclaimed with panic in her voice.

Nightraxx noticed how Moonbeam, who was cheerful and open before becoming a little more shaky, perhaps even shy after the arrival of the new colt. "Are you all right, Moonbeam?" He asked her since he first thought she felt unwell.

"As in, this morning, then yes. I did just get on. I haven' t done much, though. I basically put my lugagge away, slept to recover from the flight here, then talked to this colt for a few minutes." She explained. "Hence mt lack of friends here. I've met one pony, and he was kinda...awkward." She added. Though she could have gone right ahead and played the jealousy card, with another mare on Windy's other side, she needed to 1-up her in everything, or else Windy wouldn't be hers.

 

Kind and polite, too. This might be the colt I've been waiting for.

Sorrow had not said anything at all. She just wanted to be alone, that's all... Why did everyone want to bother her? Why did ponies want to interact? Was she THAT bad? Moonbeam was able to hear Sorrow beginning to cry again, not really loud, but enough to jsut be heard.

"Right, Moonbeam already told me your name." said Firecracker while accepting the hoofshake. He then heard a part of an conversation going on:

"Oh, yes. You're right. I'll be right back." She looked at Dogboots and then at Firecracker. "D-don't you move...." She ran into the infirmary...

 

Firecracker then literally froze when Moonbeam said for him to don't move. Not even blinking or shaking. It is a near-impossible feat to not move anything but he had mastered this easily.

A few minutes later, Sorrow had poked out of the medical closet, sniffling, but her crying had calmed. She looked extremely sorry, and guilty at the same time, as her head hung low. Her mane flopped down covering her face as well to show that she wasn't trying to cry...

Moonbeam looked up at Sorrow with a look of sorrow on her face. "Oh, um...I'll go now...I don't want to b-bother you, Sorrow...Do y-you mind if I get myself c-cleaned up first...? I don't want them to see that I was c-crying..." she said, hiccuping every once and a while as she cried on the cot. She got up, standing on all fours and stepped away from Sorrow.

He asked and he could see Moonbeam, almost in tears and Sorrow, who just came out from behind the pile of boxes, which were standing in a corner of the room, neatly stacked.

 

He slowly walked up a bit. "Are you okay?" he worried.

Moonbeam was shocked by the sudden appearance of Nightraxx. She backed up in panic and tripped over the cot, landing on the other side, trying to hold back any tears, but the fall only made it worse for her. She scrambled to her hooves, swaying back and forth a little. "U-uh-um, it's nothing, Nightraxx....j-just let us g-girls work it out p-p-please..."

Sorrow had jumped up from her sniffling state to notice that Moonbeam had nearly hurt herself by tripping over the cot. Without her mind making up for it, she quickly ran up to her, helping her adjust her balance and stay upright on her hooves. And gulped.

Fire ordered a salad and a glass of water then leaned back in her chair and yawned tiredly. She glanced up at the clock on the wall and jumped. Her eyes widened and she stood up. "Excuse me...can you send that salad to my room please ? 243." She asked. the waiter nodded and Fire ran from the dining hall and down towards the casino where she would be performing...

Nightraxx saw Moonbeam falling over the cot and wanted to help, but she stood back up and Sorrow supported her so she wouldn't fall over.

 

"All right..." He said. "I guess i'll let you work this out. I probably can't help much anyway." Nightraxx said with soft, saddened tone. "Moonbeam probably can handle it the best for now." Nightraxx thought.

As Nightraxx went out silently, closing the door behind him, he wanted to walk back out to the hallway, where the other colts he just met before were standing. He didn't see the fiery-haired Mare running down the way aswell and bumped into her. "Excuse me, Miss." he said in a little sad tone.

Nightfall looked, and noticed that Fire had left. He sighed, and decided to go do something. He trotted over to a wall and looked at the ship's map.there, he found that one could do a great deal on board. He decided to go to the library and just relax there for a bit. He eventually reached it, and trotted inside.

"I-I'll leave you alone now if you want....I won't bug you anymore...j-just get yourself checked out..." She slowly backed away more.

Windy frowned slightly at how subdued and standoffish Bolt was acting towards the newcomer, however, inside his brain, he was struggling to comprehend the meaning of her statement about too little oxygen. 

 

"What the hay did she mean about 'too little oxygen' in the room? I don't know Windy, you choose not to pay attention in chemistry, so I don't know how too little oxygen could negatively affect her. I mean, there's plenty of oxygen in here for you. Look, here's a novel concept Windy: Let Bolt brood and complain in silence, and stop trying to hit on her; you've got a perfectly good looking pegasus sitting right next to you who pretty much is saying she hasn't found a good stallion on this boat yet. Be that stallion for her! You know something brain, sometimes you actually do make some sense! I try Windy, I really try... Now go on and win her over!"

 

Windy said apologetically to Bolt, "I'm really sorry to hear that Bolt, if you're not feeling well, maybe you should turn in early tonight. As soon as I've finished getting my stuff out of your room, that is." Turning to Scamps, Windy snickered, "Oh Scamps, it was so funny! I thought I had found the right cabin, and tossed all my stuff in there, and fell asleep in the bed, only to have Bolt walk in midway through my nap! Ah, the look on our faces was priceless!"

Scamps laughed pretty hard at Windy's story. "Oh, stallion, I wish I could have been there! It's certentaily been an interesting first day for you!" She tried not to laugh too hard, as that usually resulted in snorting and her looking stupid. Of course, this attempt only made her look worse in front of her "dream stallion." She gagged, as she tried to stop herself from snorting, therefore making her nose and airflow doing all kinds of wierd things. She coughed and choked, right in front of him, and eventually recovered, leaning over the table, and taking a sip of water.

 

Okay, think of an excuse, and quick! Remember how there were "popular colts" in high school who couldn't have their reputation ruined and wouldn't date fillies who could? He could be like that, the way he's muscular and athletic, and handsome...

 

DON'T GET SIDE TRACKED!

 

"Um...sorry about that...incident. I have a condition like asthma. I don't have "attacks" or anything drastic, but when I run or fly long distances, I can have what I call "fits." Just brief moments where I cough and gag.on basically air from straining my lungs. I assume that was from haing to fly all the way from Ponyville to get to the dock earlier today."

 

Okay...I've made better excuses, but that wasn't half bad. I'll just fess up when the time's right, if I ever need to...

Once Sorrow had saw the three other ponies around her, she backed up to the wall, beginning to hyperventilate. It was horrible with just two ponies... But now it doubled... She was panicking.. She couldn't past them....

 

And that's when Sorrow fainted, falling to the floor with a light thud.

After only just coming out of the Infirmary the group had noticed that Sorrow had fainted. "Soooo...who's going to be the one to take her back to her room?" He asked outloud to the group. Dogboots knew that he couldn't plus he didn't even know where his own room was.
