"Hey, c'mon, look at me Bolt." Windy said, gently bringing Bolt's head around to face him. "Bolt, don't be sorry for being strong willed. That's like me apologizing for liking soccer; its one of those things that makes a pony who they are, it defines you. I wasn't trying to make you feel guilty for it, I just meant that I haven't known anypony who is as strong willed as you before, and its a learning experience. But I think I'll learn to adapt pretty quick." He said, again trying to drop a flirty one liner.

"Oh." Firebolt said, looking much happier. "Well... I think that was a compliment. I'm hoping it was, anyway." She thought to herself, before averting her eyes away from Windy's. "I think it's starting..." She said softly, as to not bother any of the other ponies in the theatre.

"Oh, right! Hopefully you like scary movies..."

 

"Well, at least she looks happier... Way to go Windy! You actually said something right to a mare for once! You're really generous with those compliments, you know that brain? I try Windy, I try... Now go on and put your wing back around her! If she gets scared, you need to be readily available to cuddle!"

 

As nonchalantly as Windy could manage, he put his wing back around Bolt, and left his hoof oh-so-innocently in the no-pony's-land between the two. If Bolt ever wanted to hold hooves, well, who was Windy to stop her? Now that he was situated correctly, Windy settled in to watch the movie, enjoying the closeness to Bolt.

((Actually... Firebolt is going to be slightly zoned out for most of this. So when something major DOES happen, feel free to decide when she gets startled. I never like time skipping, myself. >.<))

 

Firebolt blushed slightly, as Windy wrapped his wing around her again. She wasn't exactly sure why she was blushing, but she was. Firebolt looked back at Windy once more, then returned to looking at the screen. Somehow, her mind had decided to drift away. Though thinking of nothing, it was too active to let her fully focus on what was happening before her.

Nightraxx thought about Dogboots's question. "Somepony close to her...." he said to himself, but he already knew the answer.

"Moonbeam..."

 

He then looked back up at Dogboots. "Moonbeam...i think they've become friends before...." he said. "...And so far my only other friend here besides you and Sorrow....."

 

Nightraxx thought back to when he heard Moonbeam and Sorrow talking on the Deck last night. "I haven't even talked to her about Sorrow yet...but she knows i like Sorrow....she wanted to help as well..."

Frost groaned again, peeking an eye out from under his pillow to look at the mare once more. "Yeah. Good as in 'oh fuck my head hurts.' Didn't factor that in, did I? He chuckled a bit, giving up on the pillow and flopping on his own back as well. "Let's do this: once my head stops feeling like someone's...drilling into it, we go grab breakfast or something." Memories of nights past that ended up like last night flashed around in his head. Yeah, him and alcohol was funny. When it wasn't the morning after.

Scamps looked back up at the colt. "Well, did you see where he went? Was he hurt? At least what direction did he go in?" She aske dfrantically. She sighed. "I'm sorry. For bothering you like this. It's just, he's a friend of mine, and we were suppossed to meet here, and he promised. He would never give up on me, I swear. It just...worries me."

 

She looked back over her shoulder at Airy. "If he doesn't turn up, we can do something. I'm just really worried about him. We could go see a movie, if you wanted. At least that would help me calm down."

Laray was having a dream. She was laying in her bed and then she got up. She opened her door and trotted out, but she wasn't on the cruise anymore. She was in some sort of cave. Flames danced freely on the walls. Laray turned to exit, but the door was gone. A spiky red dragon sat hunched over a satchel in the middle of the room. Laray approached him.

"Hello? Where am I?" she asked. She got close enough to touch him, but didn't.

The dragon whipped around and grabbed her mane. She yelped in pain.

"I see how it is. You love Dogboots. You do owe him, though," the dragon hissed. "Well, I am here to tell you that he doesn't really like you. He's playing you. Your heart will sever like your hair will!"

With that, he drew a claw and hacked her mane off. The color grayed in his claws and on her. She screeched.

"Liar! I don't know what you're talking about!" she yelled.

"Am I the liar? You're the one who-" the dragon began, but Laray grabbed a rock and shoved it in his mouth.

"I don't freakin' care! I would never do anything to hurt him and nothing in my past will either. I'm pretty sure that you've gotten the wrong address," Laray retorted.

She smiled and her hair grew back. She was happy it was a dream.

The movie progressed, and Windy was internally marveling at the fact that Bolt had let him hold her this close for the whole duration.

 

"Wow! I mean, sleeping with her on the couch was kind of an accident, but this time she's fully conscious and still letting you hold her this close! That must mean something good! That's good Windy, that's good! Keep it up! What if we do run into Scamps though later today? I mean, this isn't that big of a boat... We'll cross that bridge when we come to it, Windy. If you need to, you can always lie your way out of it! I guess so, but I'd feel rotten about that, and Bolt would know I'm a liar! Your call Windy, but you might be singing a different tune when Scamps is up in your face yelling that you're a ditcher... Whatever, I don't care, I'm not gonna build this relationship with Bolt on a foundation of lies! No dishonesty around her on ANYthing. Alright Windy, let's see how long you can keep that pact..."

 

Windy's train of thought ambled along this line of thinking for quite some time, and he wasn't really paying attention to the film, and lost track of what part of the film they were at... And that the particular scene on the screen right then was an especially scary one, even for a pony who had seen it several times, like Windy... 

 

As the scary moment played out, Windy just was turning his attention back to the film... Just in time to have the living daylights scared out of him. Screaming a very un-manly scream, Windy buried his head in Bolt's neck to hide the screen. Realizing his mistake mere moments later, Windy yanked his head back like Bolt was a hot iron. A massive blush immediately formed all over Windy's neck and face. "Um... Sorry! I was just a little startled, ok! Don't judge me!" He said desperately, trying not to meet Bolt's eye.

 

"Wow. Talk about being emasculated... You better hope she doesn't have a thing only for big tough macho stallions... But I AM a big touch macho stallion! Yes, you are Windy, one who just buried his head in his dates neck because 'the movie was too scary'. Yeah, you're the pinnacle of toughness Windy."

Ocean got a little tired of waiting so she just walked into the dining room and sat down. If Nightfall, Fire and Sunburst were to come they would see her.
She picked up a menu and started flipping through.

 

 

Fire...was lost.
She was on one of the upper floors of the ship and thought she was heading in the direction of the dining room...but she was actually walking towards the pool.
She was rather angry with herself as she began searching around for a map.

"As much as I would love to help you out...I can't. However, I will be there if you need someone to listen to you." He said reassuring the worried Nightraxx. "I have to take care of some errands first, so I'll see you around." Dogboots said to Nightraxx. The earth stallion was willing to help out but he had his own demons to face.

After leaving the pool area the stallion wandered around the area. Though the stallion spent a lot of his time in the Library. Nothing, wasn't really interesting in the periodicals, so the stallion just read a book about gardening. Dogboots was already through half the book before he checked the clock. "Crap! It's 4:45. I'm supposed to meet her at around 5!" He thought before putting the book down and rushing to the Dining Hall.

 

Dogboots had made it on time though there was no sight of her. "Maybe, she's just late. I mean maybe she's getting a dress on or something." He thought before finding a nice booth in the corner. Still it seemed that the stallion was plagued with thoughts.

Firebolt chuckled softly. "Ah... It's alright." She said in an equally soft tone. She hadn't really been too caught off guard by the scene. The most it did was really make her skin tighten. She would have jumped, actually, but she wasn't really paying much attention. "I wonder if that's due to..." Her mind began, before ignoring itself and focusing back on the screen.

That was strange.

Airy also was a little sad that Windy Runner hadn't been here to wait for Windy Scamper. Even though it hardly could have been any better for Airy - now he was able to spend more time with Windy Scamper - and even though he should be happy about that, he somehow pitied Windy Scamper. She surely had been looking forward to meeting him here, and abusing this opportunity now didn't seem that right.

Well... as soon as we meet Windy Runner, I'll just leave Windy Scamper with him. As a good friend I shouldn't steal her time like that.

But until then it just couldn't be wrong to be there for her, so Airy nodded. "Watching a film is a good idea. Let's go and see what's being shown today."

Please don't let it be a horror movie... Not a horror movie...

Don't worry about her, Sorrow... She just... went on a vacation, that's all. She'll return soon.

What's... "vacation"?

Well... It's when someone has become very irritated at home, and they want to leave their home for a bit to become more happy... That's a vacation.

Oh...So... How long... are vacations?

It's just a few days, pumpkin...

But... Why did she... kiss my head... and said... "Goodbye forever?"? Is forever... a few days...

Sorrow... Honey... It means... She's never coming back... I'm sorry...

 

And at that moment... That was when... Sorrow had broken down into tears... for the first of many times in her life...

 

Flash back to just a few days before she had left for the cruise...

 

Daddy... I don't... wanna go... on this cruise...

Sorrow... You need to get your head off of Mommy. It's starting to become unhealthy for you. And just think... Anyone that goes on a cruise always has fun! And you want to have fun, right? 

......I want... Mommy back....

Honey... I wish I could say the same thing... But, don't worry. You'll have a fun time.

OK... *hug* I love you, Daddy... I'll see you soon... 

 

At that moment, Sorrow had flew away... But, what she didn't know was that was the last time that she would ever see her father again... He would leave, just like her mother, and she would become alone...

 

Now, this was the present... Sorrow had stayed inside her room, laying down in bed with a few tears slowly falling from her eyes... And only a few words coming from her...

 

"Mommy... Where... are you?"

Nightraxx sighed....talking about his past and the loss, that he had suffered, had at first brought back all the pain...., but it also felt a little...relieving...

He stood there, unsure of what he will do..., but he knew one thing...He would be there for Sorrow and try to free her from her pain and suffering. Nightraxx wouldn't ever want to see a beloved person to him wither away again...he'd rather cease himself...

 

He thought about the advices, that Dogboots gave to him. "I...need to talk to Moonbeam, she...she was the only one, who had talked with Sorrow about me...." he thought.

Laray alarm buzzed rapidly. She shot out of bed and clamped her hoof down on the "OFF" button. She went into the bathroom and put her hair up in a ponytail ((HAHA)) with ringlets. She threw on a simple purple plaid skirt and her hair Color-Coordinated to look a bit like Twilight Sparkle's colors. She adjusted a matching necklace and checked the time. She added a tad more mascara and cleaned her face up a bit more. She hurried out the door and trotted to the Dining Hall. She spotted Dogboots and waved cheerfully.

"Hey," she said, trotting up to him. "Sorry I'm a bit late."

"Yeah...sure," she mumbled. She realized how rude she sounded as she walked up to the theatre. "Sorry. It's not that I don't want to hang out with you or anything, it's just...I'm worried. He wouldn't ditch me like that. Maybe he forgot, I don't know. Come on. Hopeffully a movie will cheer me up."

 

She looked at the choices-superhero, horror, filly-flick, and some for the foals that were on board. Well, I guess he'll either want the superhero one or the horror. Really don't care. Except, the horror one....Silence of the Fillies, was it? Whatver it was called, that was the movie I was suppossed to see with Windy. I got all pumped for it...

 

"Do you mind if we see Silence of the Fillies? If you don't like horror films, we can ee Captain Equestria instead." She asked Airy.

Airy looked at the posters that announced the movies that were to be seen in the theatre. Of course Windy Scamper had to choose the horror movie as her favourite one.

"Oh... if I have the choice, I'd rather not watch the horror movie. I don't really like them", Airy did not say. It would usually have been his answer, but this time his brain gained control over him.

"Well, I wouldn't mind watching Silence of the Fillies. I've heard a lot of good things about that one", were his actual words.

He needed more than seven and a half seconds to notice that he had said the exact opposite of what he actually had meant to say. But it was too late now.

Do you want to see a movie or go on a walk?" He asked blushing a little. The stallion soon took a sip of water just to calm himself down a little.

"Well it goes great with your hair." He said before realizing what he said. "Her hair is color-coordinated you idiot!" Dogboots remembered. "I-I guess we should get going if we're going to catch a movie." He said leading the way to the movie theater.

 

"Okay, so how are we going to tell her? Don't worry I'll think of something. You said that last time. Shut up!" He argued with himself. The earth pony was incredibly nervous on the way to the theater. "Is this a date? Cause if so, then I should've dressed for the occasion." He worried to himself.

 

"So, which movie do you want to see?" Dogboots asked after the two had reached the theater.

"Hmmm...I don't know much about films and it's been years since i've seen a movie. Just pick one! Okay uhhhh oooooo...." A poster had caught the stallion's eye.

 

"Two tickets for, The Shining." He said to the cashier. Two tickets printed out of the machine and the cashier split the two pieces of paper.

 

"Enjoy the movie." He said unenthusiastically. Though Dogboots didn't really seem to notice. The stallion was more preoccupied with his own manners.

 

"This should be a good movie." He said entering the theater. Though the stallion didn't realize that he had picked a horror film and he had never seen a horror movie before.

Moonbeam sat at the table in the Dining Room with Firecracker, continuing to munch away at her muffin. She took a sip of tea and asked, "So...you're after some kind of treasure...why? You said that's why you were on the ship. Do you need the money or do you want to find some lost artifact or...are you just in it for the adventure?" she asked, hoping he would want to talk about this. She loved talking to him.

"Two tickets for Silence of the Fillies, please."

 

"Yah better hurry. Previews are already rollin'. Movie will start soon."

 

She turned back to look at Airy, her face filled with concern as she took the tickets. "Get ready to run,"

 

She then grabbed him by the hoof and began to sprint to the theatre, which was on the other side of the building. She pulled him into the first aisle seat she could find, hoping he could accomodate with his wheelchair. She sat down just as the movie began. She sat there, enjoying the movie for a few minutes, until she turned to grab her drink.

 

There he was.

 

Mystery solved.

 

With another mare.

 

Bolt. Funny, I was suppossed to see this movie with Windy.

 

She was about to ask why he hadn't come, until she saw it; his wing wrapped around her, hoof held in his.

 

She had no idea what was happenning in the movie. She didn't care.

 

My drink doesn't need to be drunk.

 

And with that thought, she tossed her drink all over Windy Runner.

 

Usually, she would have said "thanks for ditching me," or, "remember me?" But she was too upset to say anything, or to even watch this movie. She got up and ran out of the theatre, trying to hold back her tears. She found a bench in one of the hallways, and there, brgan to cry.
