Celestia's Ballad (Feat. MEMJ)

Short but sweet re-orchestration of Daniel Ingram's work. Yes, it's been months since the finale, but some people (I mean "I") wanted a more grandiose instrumental. At first I told myself I wasn't going to cover a song because it's already orchestral. But I remade it anyways, and I spent way more time on this than I needed to.

The few existing instrumentals that were out there weren't very dynamic to me. Stuff was missing, or it was too electronic (particularly the trumpet staccatos). Also the original had dialogue in it and there was no way to get a clear-cut instrumental. Basically, I felt it needed to be even more orchestral than even Daniel Ingram's version.
But that's my opinion.

And one day I was bored so I decided to make this instrumental sound more grandiose than the original.

Of course I needed a very talented vocalist, and luckily MEMJ was so nice, she lent me several takes of her voice (And what a perfect take)! It's scary how close her voice is to Celestia's.

MEMJ can really sing. I agree, she has a voice very similar to Celestia's voice. Her singing sounded lovely. And the instrumentals were nicely chosen as well. It has a very nice orchestral feel to it and is a bit more powerful than the original in my opinion. I might even like this one more than original.

This sounds really good Carbo!. MEMJ really is an impressive vocalist too and glad to see her voice popping up everywhere (she just did a track with my friend Lore). Great job on this, very short and sweet but sounding quite good.

Thanks! I always enjoy these side projects of mine that me improve on mastering and balancing mixes. MEMJ is a good singer who has a few collabs with me in the future on some really awesome future stuff.

Ooh, I got ze shivers! It just sounds so majestic. This is one of the best songs from My Little Pony, so I'm glad it got re-orchestrated.
