I've faced those kind of questions: One time at sunday school, we weren't allowed to bring out mobile phones since there was this whole Easter thing at my church, so we had to drop them off first and get them back later.

 

And that'd when I realised my first mistake....I left this wallpaper with on the Lock Screen:

Twas' pretty rough when they started asking for the owner.. (They already saw the lock screen). Worst. Moment. Ever. XD

Well I had this one time, invited a group of friends over to my place. Being a closet brony, my parents didn't know anything about me liking mlp fim. So they were on their way, and I was Whatsappin' em. They told me they had bought me a pony. At first I didn't register what they just told me and soon after they sent me a picture of one of them holding a rarity plushy. At that point I was spamming them to hide it or keep it out of my parent's sight when they come over. Thank god they kept in in the rucksack... Yea quite akward? In the end I didn't have the courage to keep it in my room (it was a really huge rarity plushy). So I asked my friend to bring it back home and wait until Christmas so we could gift it to another brony. Yep. My friend told me he had an akward moment with his parents when he brought it at home... And told them it was a gift for a friend

today, i had to share a project, with my mac, and i had to connect it to the dongle, but what i didn't realize is that it shows a picture of your background if you don't mirror it. i had this background. i regret it, but luckily, i learned something. They laughed at me, one person said GAY!, and another person yelled at the teacher that my background was inappropriate.

I have one + one I "saved".

 

So first, the one I "saved". 

 

We were talking about Little Big Planet- game with two "Friends" and I said too many times "My Little Big Planet". Luckily I'm fast to make up excuses.

 

Second time was when my computer got really slow and I couldn't to literally anything so I had to get my computer to IT-shop for maintenance. But the problem was that my wallpapers is slideshow of MLP themed pictures and some video game wallpapers and I couldn't do anything about it because my computer was too slow. And worse, there was on-the-job-learner. Why learner was bad? I live in city where everybody knows me but I know only some people, and when that guy looked at me, His facial expression told too well that he saw my wallpapers.

Pretty much every time a pony related sentence slips out. Whenever I say anything MLP related to just get rid of the tension I feel from hiding it, I follow up with ''I freaking hate that show.''.

Once or twice my computer stalled while I'm trying to hide MLP stuff I'm looking at and someone's coming. I haven't gotten caught yet, but it sure is stressful and potentially embarrassing.

I once said that I hated MLP to the boys on my school class and they ALL agreeded. So I only talk about MLP with the girls there. My school is full of sexists, ew.

 

It isn't really a embarassing moment, but WOULD be a embarassing moment if a boy there heard me talking about MLP.

That doesn't necessarily mean that all of them hate MLP, or actually that none of them like it.  Maybe there is someone among that group who likes the show but felt uncomfortable disagreeing with everyone else.  In fact, if that were true, then they'd think that you hate the show just like all of their friends, and would never talk about it when you're around.  That's why it's important to just be open about liking something instead of trying to cover it up.  And to call them sexist based on that episode is plain wrong.

was listening to mlp songs in class... then my ipod dropped... earphones unplugged... and...to top it off... full volume...

This (like probably 99% of things in this thread) didn't happen. iPods automatically pause when headphones are unplugged for this exact reason.

You are aware that some people call other brands of music players an "iPod" as a generic term, right? And those music players may not include this feature? It would be better to give the benefit of the doubt than assume that someone is lying on this thread. While I still wouldn't endorse doing it, it's not really causing harm to anyone else if someone makes stories up on this thread.

Now that I saw this topic, it seems like I've now forgotten about the most embarrassing things! Which might just be for my own good. I'll post something later if I remember though.

 

At least one thing that I remember is that I just randomly went to a store and saw a huge Fluttershy plush on sale. Of course I had to get it, so I did even though walking around a big mall-like store with a huge pony plush with me wasn't exactly the most comfortable thing I've experienced.

When I was first a brony, I would speak like pony folk (somepony, everypony), but I was like eight or nine years old back then. Regardless, I still think that it was extremely stupid and I can only imagine what my reputation was in school.

I went to Atlanta to go to Momocon, and decided to bring my Fluttershy Build-a-Bear along to have with me for the stay. Well, the next morning, I checked out of my hotel and got into my car to leave. But before taking off, I decided to take Fluttershy out of the duffle bag that I had her in and sat her in the front seat to ride with me on the drive back home. After programing my gps, I drove around to the block to wait for it to get a signal and direct me home. Well, in doing this, I apparently accidently went the wrong way down a one way, and got pulled over by a cop. The whole time sitting there talking and explaining to the cop, I had Fluttershy in the passenger seat, looking over at both of us.

One time I went out of my room to go to the bathroom, when I went out of the bathroom, the door of my room was wide open and I caught my mom in here while my main computer screen was opened, but at that time I had a Twilight Sparkle wallpaper on this particular screen so when I saw her I panicked a bit and I tried to make her exit out of the room as fast as I could. Fortunately, when I talked about that with her, she said that she did not notice the wallpaper, then as we talked more about this topic, it got to the point of me saying that my wallpaper was really special, then my mom said that she thought that the wallpaper could be something really girly, then I was all like yeah

That one was a close call.

Every embarrassing brony moments happen at home. One time my brother visited one time, and he walked in right as I was browsing the MLP forums. Since my brother is the reason my family doesn't know I am a brony yet. I did whatever possible to cover it up.

Once, the most popular guy in my class had to mention it. "Hey guys, 'Twii' is a brony! Twii's a brony!" So, well I punched him and hit him with my textbooks. I said to him "I am not a brony." Then I went to student services.I hate being called a brony, and refer to myself as a pegasister. Lol

 

He keeps taunting me about it, until I showed him a drawing of Pinkamena with a rainbow cupcake that I drew during science class. Then he admitted he used to be a brony. xD

 

For the rest of the school year, I show him drawings of MLP creepypasta.

I guess you could say that I was grounded from using any type of device for 10 weeks straight. I thought it would be easy until the first night came around and I was like "How the hell am I going to live without ponies..." because that was usually the time when I would watch a bunch of episodes at night since I had just recently starting watching the show. I got extremely upset and started to mindlessly draw a picture of Fluttershy in a book. The next day, I had music lessons, and so I brought my books and crap along with me. My music teacher then took a look through the book that I had drawn a picture of Fluttershy in and found it. He said "A pony? My Little Pony?", and then I told him that a "weird" friend of mine drew it in there when I was using the book at school. He believed me, but I'll never forget that day...

that's kinda harsh jumping to the conclusion that 99% of these are lies. im not lying when I said that though, for whatever reason, it did not pause. (I mean... its pretty old and I have had it glitch on me... so that could be the reason for it)

Probably one of the most embarrassing things is having to explain to your uncle what a "brony" is. See, I try my best to be very secretive still about my like for the show all though quite a few people all ready know I am a fan.

 

Anyway someone must have told him I was going to a convention in Baltimore. This is how the conversation went down somewhat.

 

Him: so Josh, you went to a comic convention in Baltimore right?

 

Me: (nervously rubbing leg) well actually it was a Brony convention.

 

Him: what is that? I don't know what that is.

 

Me: ( period of silence, and then a nervous sigh) well, you see, A brony is a fan of My little pony. A lot of guys and girls go to this convention.

 

Him: the girls part I understand.

 

After a little while of explaining I think he might get why I like it. But, that doesn't mean it wasn't extremely nervous for me.
