Strong noticed her unease and quickly turned again to hide the mark, he suddenly looked nervous. "Y-yes... it is..." he looked away, an embarassed blush showing, "sorry" he said as he turned to put away the weights, he didnt know anything else but to apologize to her...

Sunny saw that she made him feel embarassed, she quickly sprung up, "Sorry! I didn't mean to say it like this, it's just that it's unusual..." she blinked, hoping not everything was lost.

Strong Hooves did not turn around, he continued to re-rack the weights as she apologized, he sighed and looked to the ground as she said 'unusual'... "Its ok... I know it is... I shouldnt have shown it". He turned back to her, giving a small smile, "So... who forged your sheild?" he ever so desperately wanted to change the subject...

Sunward was happy to have a change of subject, and the fact that he looked at her re-assured her at least a bit. "It was my dad...", she then told him, "He normally makes tools, but he somehow made this for me, making it better each year.", she nods, yep, her shield did sure come a long way. It was smaller and less sturdy before.

Haste noticed everypony getting ready for the war, she wasn't scared and she wasn't going to back down, and like always she was ready, she looked towards 2 ponies one of them Strong Hooves, she had heard about him because of how he was, well.. Strong so she had heard of him, however she hadn't seen the other pony, and with her curiosity she walked towards her, "Hi Strong" she broke in the conversation

Strong smiled, "Well he is a very talented smithworker" he was about to say more when another pony broke in, "Uhh... hi?" he didnt know who this pony was, apparently she knew him somehow...

Sunward would look towards Haste. wondering what the pegasus wanted, although she stayed quiet after all she looked like knowing Strong. Even if he didn't look like it was mutual.

"Name's Haste" she smiled proudly "an I heard you're Strong Hooves, right?"

"Umm... Yeah, thats me" replied Strong, "And... how do you know me?" he was still quite confused as to how she knew him, he wasnt exactly the most social pony around...

Strong couldnt help but feel a rush of pride as he heard that his talent was well known, "Well... Yes, yes I am" he said, sitting up straight and smiling.

Drifter leaned up against a wall within a few yards of the assembled group of ponies, devoting his idle time to absently sharpening a gorgeous ten-inch dagger and observing his fellow pony companions. The dagger was made from a lightweight magic-forged alloy of aluminum and steel, having just enough weight to feel substantial in his hooves, but light enough that it felt as though it were an extension of his foreleg. The blade curved back just the slightest bit, suitable for penetrating through light, nonmetallic armor. On its hilt was inscribed one word: "Silence."

He casually glanced at the largest pony of the group, the one named Strong Hooves. Strong seemed to be engaged in casual conversation with two other ponies, both mares with whom he was unfamiliar. Drifter listened intently, smiling to himself.

Haste playfully smirked "Yeah? I'm more of a speed pony, but I too can pack a punch" she said in a playful tone

Strong smiled and raised an eyebrow, "Oh yeah?" he then turned his shoulder to her for a target, "Try me" he said with a playful smirk

Haste was caught by surprise and blushed, she readied her hoof and aimed for his shoulder and hit him with all of her force

The hoof bounced harmlessly off his shoulder, a small thud could be heard as she hit his muscled shoulder, Strong let out an amused chuckle, "Oh yeah... I felt the brunt of that"

Haste chuckled "....well there goes part of my self-confidence" she smiled

"aww come on now" Strong gave Haste a friendly nudge, "You can still do circles around me when it comes to speed"

Drifter smiled a bit at this friendly sparring display, and he wondered exactly how he would fare if faced with the two ponies.

Strong laughed, then decided to get to know these ponies better, (This is also for whenever Neikos gets back on to answer too) "So which section of the army are you all in? Im first division Infantry"

"Aerial of course" she responded spreading her wings

"First Division too.", she responded, "After all, I am here to disrupt the enemy and not just watch from behind... I'm not exactly long-ranged.", she chuckled.

Strong nodded at Haste, then looked to Sunny and smiled, "Well it seems we'll be seeing more of eachother" maybe that can be a good thing, he thought to himself...

Sunward nodded, "I look forward to it.", she grinned, and looked over to Haste, she would have wanted to introduce herself but she seemed to be absent. ( I assume Pinkazoid is offline? Will wait for her/him. ) "Either way, I wonder when we are going outside."
