So my mom and I make Rescue Strings.  We make bracelets and necklaces out of used guitar strings and donate a portion of the proceeds to animal shelters.  I thought of incorporating ponies into them somehow and came up with this.  I'm contemplating seeing if I can sell them on here, but I'd like to see if anyone actually likes them first.  The cutie marks are very difficult to paint on such a small scale.

dude they look awesome, maybe you should do commissions and donate the preceedings to more animal sheltars, I'm sure people would love to see their ponies cutie mark on a necklace

 

Thanks.  I have them ony my deviantart already but n luck on commissions, pony or otherwise.  I have two deviantarts now and if your interested before I get the commission thread worked out you can check there.  We're simply called Rescue Strings.

UPDATE!!!

 

I sent a message to Feld0 about doing commission for all interested.

 

I am currently working on painting more guitar picks.

 

I am working on Applejack, 2 Celestia's, Luna, and Twilight Sparkle.

I have all five of them done, and I did an extra Luna.  I have the Twilight and both of the Celestia's on necklaces and I plan on getting the other three done tonight, uploading pictures soon after.

 

On a side note, does anyone know how long it take Feld0 to get back to someone on commission permission.

these look very cool! but i've got one question. do you have any kinda manlyer models? maybe with just the pick on the string. and do you ship these things to holland XD i'd love to pay for one if you do.

I painted the note onto the guitar pick with an acrylic paint pen.  I do the same thing with all the other ones except with toothpicks.
